Never take your family member to Zucker, they have them for six weeks and they come out worse, they only experiment with the patient, changing their medicine as if they were laboratory mice, and when they send them back home, they only give them a transfer to an outpatient psychiatric center that will They provide emotional therapy once two weeks have passed and they do not set a date for the next therapy. And in my opinion, in this center they only care about retaining patients longer to ta...

In and out of this place, I've always had a great experience however recently the quality has gone down, which is no surprise as mental health help in America sucks and continues to decline. I do like their walk-in crisis clinic where u can get basic medications refill. However, as others have mentioned, they're no longer accepting new patients since covid, and there is no way to be put on a wait list. Some of the reps that answer phone calls aren't great and can be rude. Overall, in the past...

Among many other qualms I had about their care - 1) They did not give me a voice in medications placed on me 2) They placed me on a medication causing urinary incontinence without warning me 3) They held me several days past my preferences 4) The food and environment is frankly, terrible Find your help, but find it elsewhere. This place does not put you on the right track to health and happiness.

My son started going to Zucker Hillside hospital for paranoid schizophrenia and they literally saved his life. His last Doctor was Dr. Ling and she went through the pandemic years with him. It wasn't easy because his anxiety was worse. She has so much concern and care for my son. It was hard to reach her sometimes but that wasn't her fault, it was just a difficult time. All in all she did her best for him and he is a very Happy young man.

This is for the Zucker CRISIS center. I was having horrible panic attacks. I was there 4 hours, left with nothing but a piece of paper with therapists names, all of whom were not accepting new patients when I called. They offered none of what their website says -Crisis psychotherapy Diagnostic evaluations Medication management Coordination of care Referral and connection to long-term outpatient mental health care ZERO save your time and go anywhere else. I spoke to a social worker afterwa...

Not accepting any new outpatients since Covid, which is entirely unacceptable given people needing help now more then ever. But their Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program (MMTP) is a disgrace! They make no attempt to help people get clean, and allow patients to continually come up dirty without any repercussions such as mandatory counseling, group meetings, etc. I've had two family members there (mother was for decades who's since passed), and brother is spiraling, and they don't notice o...

This is for the crisis center If I could give Zero stars I would. I sent several people over the past few months in crisis here. They left with some names of people to call on their own, an impossible task for someone truly struggling. They gave no help with referrals or medication changes or crisis intervention which is what they are there for. Save your time and money and go elsewhere or go to an emergency room for a real evaluation. This saddens me tremendously as crisis care did not use...

I got 35 ECT treatments and it’s RUINED MY LIFE. I lost the first 20 years of memories in my life. And now It’s been 3 years since my last treatment and I still can’t form new memories or even function. School is so hard because I can’t learn anything. My brain is fried. Please don’t do ECT. Go to ketamine, go try tms, try VNS (that’s what I’m looking into now) there are other ways. Learn DBT or CBT. Don’t fry your brain. I wish I could sue the doctors who allowed me to get 35 sessions when ...
