Primary Mental Health Program

Primary mental health issues can be especially difficult to overcome long term. We treat illnesses such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, severe anxiety and depression, schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, and secondary issues like addiction. There is a lack of safe, comfortable, non-lockdown facilities for mental healthcare nationwide, which is what we provide. Many who recover from addiction have additional mental health needs that should be addressed. Still, plenty of our clients struggle solely with mental illness.

EMDR Therapy

Zinnia Health - Okeechobee is proud to service our mental health clients with EMDR therapy, an effective and compelling treatment. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR therapy, is a form of psychotherapy that treats various conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, anxiety, and depression.

Peaceful Scenery

Located roughly an hour outside of busy West Palm Beach, Zinnia Health - Okeechobee is a peaceful and relaxing place to get well. Our residents enjoy being surrounded by wildlife unique to South Florida.

I am beyond grateful for Dignity Healing for helping me with my mental health and my sobriety. Not only are there nurses on staff 24/7, they also have amazing chefs like chef Brian and Chris who prepare delicious meals 3 times a day. My peers made me feel welcomed and I would not change a thing about my experience at Dignity Healing. They truly care for their patients and they do it all with Time, Love, and Care. So I thank you all.

I am leaving Dignity a whole new person! I suffer from depression and their therapies and recommendations for medications were spot on! Dustin and Manny are the main group facilitators and they go above and beyond for everyone. Vanessa is the director and is very dedicated to her job, she’s always looking for activities and all kinds of crafts and things that the residents want. The tech staff was always helpful and kind, especially the leads. Everyone was so kind, respectful, and helpful.

I came here to overcome addiction to Kratom, and I can safely say this place changed my life. The group facilitators offer a wide variety of perspectives, but all share in common a great deal of compassion, understanding and erudition. The therapists are kind and supportive, and the general staff is extremely helpful, approachable and non-judgmental. It feels easy to get settled here and become part of the community. And the cooking is incredible! The rooms are well maintained and comfortable...

Excellent staff! Everyone was amazing! Food was delicious. Many great people to help me direct my life during a hard, dark time. From Director(Vanessa), Doctor(Barbara Boivin), therapist(Mike), group leaders(Dustin, Manny, Alan)and cook(Brian)!! Too many names to mention! For ever grateful for all the friendly wonderful techs and staff while working on myself. The time there helped me learn many things to make me stronger!! Loved the Win Hof and Soma breathing exercises!!

My brother said that this is the best rehab he's ever been to, I don't want him to die. There's 100% chance that eventually you will die if you use fentanyl. My brother and I are just minutes apart and we are identical and I don't ever want to lose him to fentanyl as I only know three people on this planet that we're hooked on fentanyl that are still alive and my brother and I are two of them. I can't speak for the third person but once you get away from it and use a blocker if you have to it...

My son went to Dignity Healing and after years of failed attempts, he stuck it out and blossomed throughout the process. I am thankful for their amazing team and would recommend them to anyone seeking help for their loved one.
