Denver women’s recovery has saved my life twice now. All I needed was honesty, willingness and an open mind. The clinicians are incredibly accepting and caring. They work with schedules and provide countless resources. As well as a deep dive into the education side of addictions and trauma. I started on 2020 and have not had a drink since

No other way to say it, other than this place changed my life. I was at DWR for almost 15 months which is a tad longer than the intended timeline of their program :) I kept coming back because I knew I wouldn’t find a better place to heal, and they never gave up on me. Their staff is supportive, kind and extremely capable. (Special shout outs to Amanda, Zoe, Laura, Venus and Queen Bader) They all genuinely care about each of their clients and provide a safe space to foster growth and healing ...

DWR literally saved my life. When I first entered the program I was a beyond broken 21 yr old who thought their life would definitely end in incarceration. After leaving a correctional facility, doing a full treatment program I had no where to go. DWR full forced swept in and welcomed me with open arms. The community within DWR is something I forever will hold near and dear to my heart. They helped me become an independent sober women and words could never be enough to express my gratitude. I...

DWR was exactly what I needed when I relapsed after 4 years of sobriety. I had moved to the area recently and didn't know many people yet. I felt very alone and isolated. DWR helped me re-connect with people and get back on track with my sober life. This was my 2nd IOP experience. DWR's approach is much different than my first experience in that they are VERY trauma informed which was super important for me, and they encourage you to make connections with your peers outside of group. Th...

Everything about Denver Women’s Recovery was home the minute I walked through the doors. DWR was everything I needed at every level of my rock bottom. Every staff member played a pivotal role in my time at DWR. I am thankful for the way each part of the IOP program was run and how the curriculum was delivered. I grew into who I am as a person through IOP and OP processing groups led by great facilitators in a safe environment. I felt free to be me at all times and never once felt judged for...

I lived at the sober living and did IOP and OP there a little over 1.5 years ago. It was a great place to get sober. Of course there is always some issues when you have several girls living there together but there was really no issue with the staff. I followed two women that helped there when they started their own therapy businesses who i still work with to this day because of how amazing they were when I was a client there. My therapist, Sharon, was the BEST therapist I have ever had. She ...

This review is about their IOP program. I do not have experience with their sober living. I will start by saying, years ago, I heard this place was great. I do believe it has gone downhill. My experience Denver Women’s Recovery was horrible. They claim to focus on trauma, however, their therapists are inexperienced and do not know how to work with trauma. You are not allowed to discuss trauma in groups, so leave that for your inexperienced therapist who will likely cancel your appointment sev...

After reading Hannah’s review, I have the courage to write my own. I have positive and negative things to say about Denver Women’s Recovery. I attended their IOP program in the Summer of 2022. There are stunning reviews for this place, but several years ago. Perhaps it has gone downhill. The positive aspects: their curriculum is top notch! They have so much knowledge about addiction and trauma. It is thorough and helpful. And the general staff is nice and accepting. However, I had bad experi...
