I was sent to Westpark in January of 2022 and the staff were very kind and helpful. I wasn't shamed for my issues and they seemed to genuinely want to help me. While the beds weren't hotel grade, never expected them to be in the first place, I felt safe. I met people going through similar and hearing their stories. I didn't feel alone. The staff at WestPark helped me understand that I wasn't alone and that seeking help was not something to be ashamed of.

My daughter was there for a week and they got her stable as well as they could. However when my daughter was there she kept complaining that she had a UTI…and it was left untreated. She was discharged and when she got home she was sick and finally I had to call the ambulance to take her to the emergency room. Long story short she ended up with sepsis and kidney failure because nobody listen to her. Her case manager was sweet…I was expecting a call from the physiatrist and nothing. Discha...

The staff were friendly and welcomed my special son. But, after 2 weeks, i called to check in and they said he ran away?? I’m very upset that they did not call me sooner. After sending out a search unit, they found him in a different cell. He was missing his clothes and his retainer. Do not leave your kids here they will lose them!!!!

I am sharing our experience to possibly help a distraught momma or family member. My teen daughter was at this facility as an inpatient for 1 week. We have no real major complaints at all. Yes there was a staff member or two that she didn’t like and the food wasn’t great according to her but overall we were pleased with all of it. Intake took a while but that is to be expected. Her intake person, Becky, was very kind and helped us through each step. The front desk ladies were kind and courteo...

If I can give a 0 star I would, my daughter was brought in voluntarily. She was supposed to stay for a few days like 3 days. Spoke to Dr Mcfarlane and she was supposed to get back to me on day 3 been calling and trying to get the doctor or anyone to talk to. No response. I waited for 6 hours on day 6 trying to get my daughter. But they kept her hostage refused to release her threatened to take her to court. She even signed the AMA paper, but they continue to threaten her with a court order. M...

This facility ignores Texas Law and violates their patient bill of rights with nearly every patient I saw who was stuck here with me. Patients do not get mental health support here. You are given shots without consent to go to sleep and stop having "outbursts" (needing help) while in a crisis. The staff ignored my roommate who was trying to get clean from drugs and was pregnant, I was the one who made sure she ate and drank water during her withdrawal symptoms. Do not take anyone here. Do not...

I just started my first day of outpatient therapy, well, technically I’m waiting for paperwork before I truly start. So far my experience here has been exceptional. I came in late last night with an officer to get checked in for impatient but after doing an assessment with nurse Christie, it was evaluated that I do not need an patient right now and she recommended I do outpatient first and b if My condition gets worse, they could immediately admit me to inpatient. The facility has snacks an...

I'm a 66 year old male who spent 6 nights and 7 days at this facility. After having a complete mental breakdown with strong suicidal thoughts I visited the ER and they suggested West Park Springs. The hospital seems to cater to those who have drug and alcohol dependency. Obviously, if you have the latter conditions mental health issues follow. Their are two activity groups and two counseling groups per day. A physiatrist see you once a day for about 10 minutes. He administers meds and evalu...
