If I could leave a 0 star I would. I came here for help and didn’t get help at all. One of the nurses used my number and texted me asking me out basically and I had stated to them. That your job is to come into my room at night and check up on me. And he even stated he wouldn’t mind being fired for me. I came here to get help and that’s how I was treated 😐. I also saw multiple patients laughed at by staff and one patient thrown in the ground and laughed at. There was not therapy or counseling...

I give one star because of the disorganization from this company. I came out there to detox off of Suboxone and alcohol. My entire life was line. The doctor did not listen to me. I told him I was there to get off of Suboxone. That was my goal. Instead. They threw me on a four day protocol Ativan. On that fourth day, they kicked me out, knowing I was still detoxing office Suboxone and that is why I was there. They stress me out so bad the night before about Transport. They literally come to yo...

This place became my worst nightmare. My husband was taken there last week for some quality treatment. He was there for 4 days and I never spoke to his case manager. It took me 2 days just to find out his unit and when visiting hours were. I never got calls back from anyone. I had so many names of people and only spoke to 2. He was sent to a hospital for pneumonia and a stomach virus. When I went to pick his things up only half of his clothes were there. His walker was missing. They were sup...

Everyone there treated me as a person. I was not my diagnosis, I wasn't a faceless/nameless patient, I was respected as a person, which I am utterly grateful for. Smoking is allowed, scheduled throughout the day, but you can go outside even if you don't smoke. The food is actually pretty good. They don't just make/fry/bake it, it has seasoning and care in there. Always something to do but you don't have to do everything; unless otherwise part of your particular needs you can choose not to go ...

During my time here, I cannot say I have gotten any better. Weather it's because of this facility specifically or the type of institution in general as a whole, I felt worse being here than anywhere else. Coming from a place where I already felt a lack of fundamental support, being here was incredibly isolating. It felt like being in prison, but not as bad. It was too restrictive to be in the name of "mental health improvement". From the ineffective group counseling to controlled access to th...

The Wekiva IOP facility and the program in general is one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life thus far. Focusing on your mental health is crucial to living a long, happy and fulfilling life and the staff at Wekiva made it that much easier to embark on such a life changing journey. I recommend this faculty to anyone who is having some mental illness struggles and need a new atmosphere or way to open up and get treatment. It can be awkward at first, but it’s more than just a group thera...

It’s been a full year since my stay here and I finally feel able to speak on it. I was baker acted so I was there for 72 hours to be evaluated and helped. Well, in those 3 days, I didn’t see a doctor at all. Firstly they put me in the unit with patients that had severe issues including violence. I was moved a day later but was terrified to leave my bed and then told I wouldn’t be able to leave if I didn’t participate in group activities with the people that genuinely scared me. I had a pregna...

Every morning I am greeted by GARY at Wekiva Springs IOP outpatient program. Hi Aldo, and that starts my day at Wekiva Spings. I wrote this about 8 days ago and the staff are very good at their respective jobs. I have changed my IOP program from there to a new place that is more convenient for me travelwise. I will miss the people who were in my group, all of them were very nice to be with in this program. We all got to know each other even for the short time I was there and it helped me open...
