My 88 year old mother took a fall and was taken to Weiss Hospital. My expectations were low because of the location of the hospital. It was the best experience I have ever had with a hospital. The communication with every team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, caseworkers, etc was so quick and efficient. Every test, scan, etc was done immediately (no waiting) and the results were reported back quickly via a direct phone call to me. The staff is friendly, kind, and supportive. The hospi...

The worst hospital I’ve ever been to. The nurses are lazy, the doctors are clueless, & it’s not a good experience being there at all. Don’t go to the ER because they won’t take good care of you. I was never a patient here at Weiss but had relatives there & it was very stressful because they don’t care fire patients like they should. A lot have to change here like attitudes & providing better care for the people that is less fortunate than others. Quality over quantity.

Went in with a broken collarbone. The doctor said (without even looking or testing range of motion or asking me a single question) that it was dislocated. I could feel and see the bone protruding. They told me to go get Motrin and give it a couple weeks. I demanded X-rays. The X-ray showed it was broken as well as my elbow. Then they again told me to leave and buy Motrin. This was from a scooter crash I had open abrasions all over me and they didn’t even treat anything not even a bandaid. As ...

The ER is terribly maintained. Don’t have enough actual rooms so some patients are placed in chairs alongside the wall. Also the staff discusses other patient health information out loud so we were able to hear a lot of details regarding other patients- not sure if that violates hippa but we definitely heard things that we wish we didn’t.

I expected this to happen in the near future; but still taken aback tonight in Weiss' ER. I give 1 star for a wait time under 12 hrs, I give 1 star for the pleasant personnel. I give nothing to the nurse who smelled like he was vaping. He disconnected the IV without clamping it, got the fluid everywhere including my street clothes. I jumped up and told him to get away from me, and that I wanted another nurse. It's sad to see people get addicted to marijuana. Willing to jeopardize their jobs...

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A $0 BALANCE. I happened to move after my ER visit at this hospital, didn’t receive any of the co insurance bills left on my balance. Then boom i check my credit and it’s down THREE HUNDRED POINTS. Over not even $1k really? The care wasn’t even worth it, i waited in an empty ER waiting room for 20min throwing up & they hardly checked on me after.

An ER doctor attend to my mother one time. She’s asthmatic and was going through lung problems. My mother was crying out for help and the nurses kept telling my mother to be quite. And then soon after that, the doctor had security take my mother outside while she was in a wheelchair and left her outside… I’m not going into details on what happened after. This hospital is poor and have bad doctors. They don’t care for your well being. It’s just a job for them really but they treat you like you...

Easily the least competent hospital I have ever dealt with. Everything from their appointments to their recordkeeping is a nightmare. You'll have to call several times before they'll even pick up, and then they'll redirect you to the wrong department (this has happened 3 times) so you have to keep starting over. The operators have limited English skills so everything will be harder than it needs to be. Just avoid this hospital at all costs.
