Pay was good, but for a reason. Multiple assaults daily to staff and patients. Short staffed always. No real orientation. Sink or swim. State was called, and staffing was a little better, but quickly went back to the usual. Terminated with no notice. Not a text or a call, after being ill and providing multiple physicians notes. If you get sick and they don't like you, you may be terminated without any communication from the company. Work here at your own risk. Hit the ground running. Work sho...

Work short staffed. Assault from clients will and do happen frequently. Clients assault each other daily as well. Don't get hurt or sick. If you are assaulted by a client, you are "not allowed" to call the police and make a report unless you are "off the clock". Certain staff had regular assignments to a particular unit, but everyone else had to float wherever. Your badge may or may not work. If it doesn't, then you have no access to the nurse's station, the med room, or the unit. Usually without warning, so you are putting your license on the line. State came in and closed a whole unit because they were accepting more patients than they had staff for, and I was told that they had multiple deficiencies. Don't expect lunch. Prepare to paper chart, and good luck getting everything done they expect you to do. Worst experience of my entire multiple decades of nursing.

Do NOT walk in to this facility (if you can call it that) of your own free will!! Please read and take all of these reviews seriously! These people employed here are only in it for a paycheck.
You are going to be admitted on a 72 hour hold REGARDLESS! I was told all through the admitting process that I would be free to go at any time. You aren’t in on your own free will! It doesn’t exist there! Therapy is non existent ! It took 2 days to see a Dr.! As soon as she opened her mouth I was on a ...

You are going to be admitted on a 72 hour hold REGARDLESS! I was told all through the admitting process that I would be free to go at any time. You aren’t in on your own free will! It doesn’t exist there! Therapy is non existent ! It took 2 days to see a Dr.! As soon as she opened her mouth I was on a 72 hour hold. They changed my meds but no therapy, they never contacted my primary doctor when I was discharged so that they know my new medications. It’s been a nightmare just trying to get refills because there is/was no communication between them and primary. Do not even speak to the opposite sex or YOU WILL BE threatened by staff to put a notation in your chart!! For what??
There are all kinds of patients in together. I went in for depression in hopes I would get help and therapy and I was put in with a very eclectic bunch where one patient (who was verbally abusive and potentially dangerous) walked in to my room.
The food isn’t fit for scavengers. They will tell you there are snacks, fruit, tea, etc… snacks (if any) are nothing but sugar, there is NO fruit and the tea may show up or not so water it is!
It’s absolutely freezing inside and you get one blanket and 1 sheet and flat, plastic pillow. Bathrooms aren’t cleaned daily and the whole facility is just not clean! This definitely is not a “clinical “ setting, which I was informed by telephone before admitting myself, it was. They discharged me after 5 days because my family made it a mission to get me out of there and they sent me home missing ALL of my meds I take daily besides what they put me on.
I could go on and on! DO NOT go to this facility of your own free will! Do your due diligence and research the facilities in your/our state. There HAS to be better out there.

I stayed here for a day in October 2021 because i was suicidal. During my stay, they just had us either color and watch tv, or sit outside (which there was nothing to do there). I was never told what was going on and just yelled at for not understanding what the nurse was telling me to do. They took half of my things and almost didnt give it back until my mom asjed about it. A nurse berated us several times and said afterward, "I'm not here to make friends, im here to do my job" They also jep...

The floors were dirty, and i started crying at one point so they judt made me sit in a room with writing all over the walls. I wouldn't wish admission to this place upon my worst enemy.

Do not go here. They don't care about you or your mental health. The staff members barely interact with you and when they do they are mean. Everything about the hospital is un organized. All the nurses and techs have different rules. The hospital itself is filthy the floors are always dirty and the bathrooms obviously never get cleaned. I have an injury that I kept telling staff about and they would forget and be like when did you get hurt and I would have to tell them the same storie over an...

The day before I was discharged it said I was discharging in my chart but nobody had informed my mom so I had to when I talked to her that night.

Just don't! A family member of mine went to this facility for treatment for acute care.Terrible communication, patient left worse than going in, solution was increasing medication that already shows as having significant interactions together... As a DSP in behavioral health, this is the worst facility I have had the displeasure to "work" with yet.

Why isn’t the place shut down..? The bathroom floors are so dirty, even the main floors. The staff were so mean there. I never saw my therapist except once, also I was very sick once and I had to keep reminding them how sick I was. Don’t ever go here bro

I want to start out with I am an adult patient and I've been admitted a lot. I have been here too many times, and they are not helpful. The staff members on the adult units are usually great, but anyone higher up (like the nursing supervisor) don't expect anything nice. They don't care about the patients. In the past I was on the pine unit when it was still the adults, and a nursing supervisor happened to be watching us and our techs and nurses that day, on our unit. This woman was very rude,...

This woman was very rude, and I remember at one point, I was sitting at the table near the desk, and I overheard her talking to a tech. "All they ever do is sleep, use the bathroom, and drink water!" She was frustrated because someone had asked for a cup of water The doctors and therapist are very neglectful also. You do not get therapy every day as promised. You do not get to see your doctor every day. The doctors pick and choose who they see in one day, and don't bother to let everyone else know not to expect their doctor that day. The process of getting discharged is anything but fun. Sometimes (most of the time) your doctor will tell you "hey, you get to go home on -certain day-" and then the day comes and the discharge order is not on your chart, and the doctor will refuse to come talk to you if you aren't on their list that day. Having been in and out of this place for years, and seemingly not getting better, I'd say go somewhere else. I honestly think we need a new hospital and Valley needs to be shut down.
