First the positives: Most of the nurses are incredibly nice, caring and accommodating to requests. My therapist Laura, and the weekday Psychiatrists were great! Unlike other reviews, I had multiple people review my concerns about medication and I had many people discuss the options with me and the concerns that I had. Particularly related to the potential long-term brain effects that I had heard research about increasing your risk of Alzheimer's. Ultimately, the decision was to start with a v...

This hospital refuses to give updates on minors in their care. No one can give you a straight answer on what's going on with your child. Doctors take forever to return phone calls. If it's a weekend, you're pretty much out of luck. The patients have no hot water for showers either. Do not recommend.

Worst. Ever. Took my teenager there. Not only did they send DCF to my house under false accusations saying I refused to lock up my gun when I was never even asked that question, they Said I make her do to much. (Dishes, feed dogs and chickens, occasionally makes a meal) that was a Wednesday, I called and asked to speak to the Dr or somebody in charge and no one would call me back. I didn't get anyone to take my phone call at all. No one spoke to me until I drive the hour up there in Saturday ...

Wife really needs to be seen but staff here does not seem responsive. Was refereed here by UF ER and wait times are long with hardly anyone in the lobby. This was a huge contrast between the ER where they were really kind and responsive. I hope the treatment is better than the first impressions and the poor reviews. When asking how long it would take to be indicted was told flat out by lady who didn't speak good English that was not going to be seen until the person the police brought in was ...

From your first walk in to the place the lobby is peaceful with chairs and Vending-machines the Hospital its self is a one floor building. The cafeteria is pleasant and the food is very good! 😊 The workers are also very nice.

All they care about is prescribing medication. I was told by a nurse “if you don’t take medication we’re going to medicate by force”. You’re constantly being monitored on literally everything you do. If you wake up in the middle of the night for a snack the nurse will note that you’re manic and are not sleeping. Though one of the only options to remain sane is to sleep during the day so if you’re not getting more than 12 hours of sleep you’re manic basically. I was lucky to be only prescribed...

Horrible place. They don’t care about you getting better. Sun and exercise for patients is not a concept they know. If you pace they think you’re crazy. Never mind that sleeping all day is not healthy. They give you too much medication. If you’re a POC beware of coming here. This place was a nightmare.

So far the lady at the desk and security guard were acting a little funny I guess we will see if these are not wasting my time and actually want to help Amy way so far everything went okay I mean the front desk were slightly rude and they have tight security and only allow to be admitted they don't really have anything else besides staying the night or five and I definitely can't do that but I will go back to then again if I really need to but to be honest they are really RUDE out there would...
