In order to remain as inclusive as possible, UCS Healthcare offers bilingual treatment services and programs that are specifically catered to individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Well now , i have recently had a very positive experience and as they say " change of heart " about UCS and it's staff and protocols ! Nurse Emily , who has been VERY helpful and attentive to my situation,is an absolute gem , and Dr. Joshua meeting him my 1st time , is a delight to know ,and talk with . My 2 negative reviews in the past i see NOW they were me venting from frustration and looking for a " scapegoat" to cast blame or suspicion on UCS but now i realize that this institution is ...

If you are one of the unfortunate people that have been reliant on opiates ,like me , please please please try to get off of them ! Do NOT trade one crutch for another one and go to this place ,West Des Moines location. They will pretend like they care about you,but in reality, it's just a job/ paycheck for the " caring" staff who work there. I have been reprimanded for using NyQuil for a bad cold and it showed up in my UA as alcohol! So, they took my take homes away..2 years ago i had a posi...

I see bad reviews here and I’ve been going here for 2 years and ALWAYS have been treated well. Dr. Mollie takes her time with me even after taking on another position, she comes in on her Saturday off and listens and DOES CARE. Rachel is the best too! It goes both ways. Respect them and their time and you will get respect!

I was 13 minutes late and they wouldn’t see me, I get it. But they didn’t tell me and let me sit in the lobby for half an hour. I’m out of meds and just need a refill it would take ten minutes, they still wouldn’t see me. No one else was in the lobby waiting for an appointment. It’s a month to reschedule. Rachel and ucs are not in the business of helping people. I won’t be going back

I started going to UCS Healthcare in 2019 for psychiatric treatment and therapy. Frankly, I should’ve stopped going to this place back in 2019 when a therapist forgot an appointment not once but twice. My latest issues that finally prompted me to stop coming here are with Dr. Rachel Mack. She did genetic testing months ago, and has not gotten back to me with the results despite saying she would. She claims she’s been trying to contact my primary care physician to coordinate depression/anxiety...

It’s been incredibly difficult to get in touch with them, it seemed good at first…but now it just seems like I’m a number and a paycheck. Can’t get anyone on the phone, can’t get call backs, can’t work around my hectic schedule even a little a bit. Basically being punished for working for a living, before they open and after they close. 15 minutes late for a zoom call during my work day and no reply.

Almost 3 years clean and sober thanks to the people at Ucs that never gave up on me. My addiction was too much for most of my own family to stick around, but people like Terri McPherson -Drew and others(Ellie, Susan (both and all) David, Chris, Julie& so many more, some who aren't there anymore either) that didn't ever give up on me and in fact supported me when i couldn't support my own self. They helped shape me into the woman i am and am proud of today❤️i will forever be truly grateful

I started going to UCS in 2016 when they were located on Franklin. They were the only methadone clinic that accepted medicaid and thats all i had, so i went. I never felt so humiliated, defeated, depressed and angered in my life while i struggled to get clean. The staff was cold, had no compassion and treated EVERYONE like criminals. The only reason i stayed and continued my treatment was bcz i loved myself enough to get and stay clean and my primary doctor, Dr. Huante was in that same buildi...
