This means that clients will not be fit into pre-determined treatments but rather treatments will be fit around them. Because of this, clients will have access to the more standard psychological services like individual and group therapy, CBT, and DBT. They will also be offered motivational interviewing, equine therapy, accelerated resolution therapy, addiction education, and family programs.

The turning point helped me in my darkest moment. I’m forever grateful for their team and the person they helped me get back in myself. It is no picnic but it’s very much like life. You have to put in the work and be open/incredibly honest.

I am an alcoholic and struggled with alcoholism and bulimia for over 20 years. I am now 2 years sober but in no way, shape or form would I attribute any of my sobriety to the time I spent at Turning Point. This program preys on vulnerable people and their families at their lowest point in life. This program is based in control and emotional abuse tactics I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Their methods include a breakdown process. To break you they will embarrass you and use information shared in the...

Turning point saved my life after suffering 35 years with bulimia and anorexia. I highly recommend them to anyone with an eating disorder or substance abuse problem. The staff there really cares about every client and go above and beyond by treating all aspects of the disease's. Including trauma therapy. Never have I ever been treated with more love and respect than at Turning Point.

My fiancé has been struggling with substance abuse for a few years now and getting the help that he needs was long overdue. We are located in South Florida which is a 4 hour drive to the center. I'm forever thankful to Turning Point, their team was able to pick him up from our home to go in the center. Not only I didn't have to make that drive since we have a toddler and another baby on the way, but he finally was able to get back to his recovery journey. Highly recommend!

My loved one attended Turning Point last year for an addiction to alcohol. This was a 30 day in patient treatment program and I knew right away that this was the best place for them. Staff are amazing right from the beginning. This was the first time that my loved one sought treatment and I had no idea what to expect. After I dropped them off, I felt a combination of relief, but also anxiousness. I was offered a chance to participate in family therapy which was and is an amazing experienc...

Turning Point of Tampa not only saved my life but showed me a whole new way of living. The program is intense but my alternative was death. I believe this is why the program is taken so seriously. I learned not only about the disease itself and the many ways it manifests in me, but also how to keep it in remission by working a 12-step program of recovery. I was assigned to a therapist I met with 1:1 and a psychiatrist who was able to provide medications to stabilize a co-existing mental healt...

As a parent of a Turning Point client, I want to say that the support family group that is offered one day a week, is a wonderful benefit for families. After your loved one leaves Turning Point, this support group is available to the families for as long as you want... Years if you want. I truly know that the therapists honestly help their clients learn about their addiction, provide them with tools to succeed in life. I would recommend Turning Point to anyone! Thank you!

Please do not send a loved one here or go here if you are looking for addiction recovery. I don't like leaving bad reviews and getting personal but I will with my experience here. Hans is the clinical director and is extremely rude. Hans has a meeting every week where everyone goes in a circle and "rats" on each other, saying something they did wrong. A lot of other issues I won't go into, especially with staff and their 180 rules (literally). So many rules too and very intense, and rude st...
