Over the past three years I’ve had multiple admissions to Trident Medical Center. Initially I noticed several problem areas and was able to address these with the unit managers or the administrative person over that department. I would like to say that both the ED and the 4th floor have exceeded all Expectations. I know there are times when the ED is slammed and though I may not be seen immediately I do realize there are patients sicker than I am. I have found the staff to be very communica...

I'm an RN and my husband is an MD. My father passed away at Trident in 2023. This was without a doubt the worst hospital and the worst patient care I had ever seen, both nursing care, and medical care. From the beginning, the Dr.(hospitalist) refused to communicate with the family regarding our father's care.I knew his health history better than my dad did. The nursing care was awful. My dad was found lying on floor at home for 3 days. He spent a week in Trident and was never bathed, despite h...

Terrible experience. The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. They didn’t even put us in a room when they thought my wife was having a heart attack. Being out in the middle of the emergency room, I watched as the staff concerned themselves with talking about their personal lives while repeatedly missing calls for tests and check ins. We had to sign a waiver, as we were leaving, stating we were aware that this is a teaching hospital. That was the first we had heard of that. They ...

I couldn’t say enough positive things about the nursing staff on fourth floor. They are attentive, professional, and always go out of their way to ensure your health is at top rate. I couldn’t have enough good things to say about nurse Katelyn Johnson, nurse Jennifer, nurse Janeice, tech Kiona Sanders. You are all amazing and deserve so much praise.

This is the sorriest hospital and needs to be shut down ASAP. IF YOU WANT TO DIE GO HERE THEY WILL HELP YOU! My fiancé was in here begging for an antibiotic as well as myself. They stated it was NOT THEIR PROTOCOL. . After finding fluid and mucus in his lungs and running a fever for 3 days would still not give him a simple antibiotic which would have saved his life. Instead they let him die with double pneumonia at their hands. Pathetic excuse for a hospital and staff and the whole crew was...

I truly wish I could leave no stars because they are no where star worthy. My mother was transported to Trident today via ambulance. Once she arrived she sat in the hall from approximately 10am to 2:30pm. They did an xray and CT scan on her then after sitting there the nurse walked up , handed her the discharge papers and expected her to walk out on her own accord. She NEVER even saw a doctor. A doctor NEVER examined her. She left in pain and feeling like she didn't matter. How does a hospita...

Had a bad car accident in 2022, this hospital charges 100.00 for one pain killer, to start!!! *LUDICROUS!!!*they banged my insurance for about 150K and they are looking to get 1500.00 from me!!! They have some NERVE!! Well it is a "FOR PROFIT ONLY" hospital, this is clear, they are SUCH PREDATORS! ...... so they sent my balance to a bill collector, what a JOKE! This is why our insurance is so high because of predators like TRIDENT.....My insurance company paid them already. They are looking...

Helping people who are in crisis or have loved ones in crisis is precious work. Just here to say it was sad to see the way that Luciana decided to treat people who’s loved ones were in crisis. There was also fecal matter on the chair in the waiting room, while the attending nurse (previously mentioned) sat and gossiped with the police officer about those in the waiting room. It was brought to staffs attention and it remained there, with no one making resolution to keep the ER waiting area ...
