Not enough staff for urgent care. Charging station was broken couldn’t use plug ins while waiting for hours. Machines weren’t working. Unclean and the place stunk. The helicopter also waited for someone to help them and it took hours before someone came out with a stretcher.

Took my daughter in for an x-ray of her foot. We were there for almost 6 hours. No nurse or doctor ever came in the room to check on us or to do an exam. Was told the x-ray would take an hour. After 3 hours of waiting on the results of the x-ray(during which time no one checked on us or offered us any food or drink despite having been there for several hours) we decided to leave. From now on I'll just be going to Ashland. Anytime I would go to the nurses station for an update I was just ignor...

Hospitals/Drs & Nurses are Supposed to be there to Help when someone goes to a hospital. Sure there are Plenty of people on drugs. But, That's Any & Everywhere you go. But, just because they have some that they call "FF/Frequent Flyers" That does Not mean that everybody are on drugs? Drs & Nurses get paid Good money to take care of people who need help. I have 3 different types of cancers "lung, stomach & intestinal"! My back is broken in several places. I have several disks that have Blown o...

But, just because they have some that they call "FF/Frequent Flyers" That does Not mean that everybody are on drugs? Drs & Nurses get paid Good money to take care of people who need help. I have 3 different types of cancers "lung, stomach & intestinal"! My back is broken in several places. I have several disks that have Blown out. And now i have a hole in my hip & looking at a hip replacement. I live in Pure & Total Torment everyday of my life. But, if you go to Any ER & even mention Back problems you are Automatically labeled a Dopehead or a drug addict right them & there. There was a Preacher who said that "Before Any medical student got their Drs license that it should be Mandatory that they experience Back Pain"! I Totally Agree. Back PAIN does not just affect you physically? But,also Mentally, Emotionally, Psychologically as well as Spiritually also. And Until someone has to deal with it Everyday of their lives. They Don't have the Slightest clue what REAL PAINN IS? And i do mean NOT a Clue? I've seen with my own eyes when someone comesThen, if the So called Dr finally decides to come in & see you? They act like you are just another Dopehead before they even ask you any questions or about any injuries? They All should be Ashamed of themselves. They Need & Should find them a Job that they like. Cause 90-95% of them are there Just there for the Money. And if it weren't for us the patients they would Not have a Job? We PAY your salary. And the majority of Drs & Nurses especially. They get Paid to sit on their butts & do NOTHING or Act like when someone come into the ER that they are Bothering you or interrupting your phone call? And to many Drs THINK they are some kind of a GOD? I Always Try to treat others Better than i want to be treated. There are 2 different types of Addiction.#1 is Chemical addiction. That is when some -one takes pain meds to get or keep them a HIGH going. Then there's Physical Addiction. That is when someone has & lives in Severe & Chronic Pain everyday of their lives. And they Do Need Pain meds just to Try to live a halfway descent life. Cause when you live & Stay in Severe & Chronic Pain & you take a pain pill. It works on the same principle as dropping a sponge in water. The Pain will Absorb the pain just like a sponge does water. All Drs & Nurses Should know this. The Bible says: "Judge Not? Lest thou be Judged also"! Because this could be You the "Dr/Drs or the Nurses or one of your family who needs medical attn" & i can guarantee you that they would NOT like to be treated like they treat others? When Drs look at my medical records. They'd want to know How i'm still walking? I've had several Drs tell me that "i am a prime example of why you "Don't judge the book by its cover"? And i've been told that by All my medical records i should not be living..let alone able to walk? But, I Try to put on a smile & i Try to make at least 1 person Laugh everyday. Even though i am literally Dieing inside. I've also had to go to the ER & the Dr will pull up my medical records & then come in the exam room & look at me & say: "you've got to be kidding me or i must be in the wrong room? Drs & Nurses before you even Think of Judging someone. Try listening to the patients First. All of you guys went to school to learn this. And you might just learn Alot IF you'll just Listen to the patient? Try doing that instead of putting people who come to the ER DOWN. You Might & could Save someones life? Be the BEST that you are Trained to do & be. Try it & you just might Like your job better? I Hope & Pray this Might Help some of you Medical Professionals? Take Care & God Bless each & everyone of you. Remember Jesus Loves you & HE Still SAVES LIVES!!

I would best say this medical center, when I was there, seemed to be mostly for delivering babies that were high risk, were emergencies or too near delivery to go further, and I believe there is a behavioral health type of center here, too. I dont know how they are in the ER, but I know firsthand, and from the delivery of my 3rd child- my lil wildcat Chance- after an emergency caesarean section, I LOVED this place in 2010. I dont know how they are in the ER, but I know firsthand, and from the delivery of my 3rd child- my lil wildcat Chance- after an emergency caesarean section, I LOVED this place in 2010. I am from WV- 2 hours one way drive to see Dr Edens. He was more than what anyone could even speculate, and now being a recovered opiate addict for years, but then being under MAT, I dont mind one bit to say this was a pleasant surprise for our growing family and I felt like a deeply concerned new mother should here- never given shame or any maltreatment or treated lesser than for any reason. The guilt and physical struggles are far more than anyone inexperienced could ever empathize. This treasured stay and advanced healthcare given simply came to surpass the treatment in my own state yet was still never lacked in its small town kinfolk feeling of a labor/delivery unit. My son was the only baby in the nursery for at least a solid day, and nursery chicks loved his feistiness and his beautiful complexion and handsome features. The entire stay was noteworthy enough for my own attempt to potentially alter the bad review stigma...it is specialized care here, and if u can accept that- and visit with that specialized care needed, youll love this quaint gem. The goldfish/duck pond out front was cool for my husband to take the older kids to spend time, too.🦆🐟 ❤️

If you're having a actual medical emergency please don't go there. Take your health seriously and go literally anywhere else. The place should be shut down. If you say differently you're a liar. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to my dying enemy

I wished I could give a big fat 👎. I've been here with my son for a very serious health condition that he's dealt with for years. He needs fluids! But instead, the rude Dr. Spears just walks in and walks out after making a few cocky remarks. Nothing!!! The nurse just poked her head in. No vitals, no assessment.... nothing!! I've tried explaining he needs fluids, he has practically zero fluid output and what minimal amount he did pass, was dark brown. The ONLY reason we come here is because h...

The ONLY reason we come here is because his specialist has his practice here. We've asked them numerous times to call him and still nothing!! You need to fix the problems here, even if you need to begin with getting rid of some staff!! I don't know how JACO hasn't shut this place down!!! Nobody knows anything when you ask them a question.
