I hate dropping my review down to 3 stars, but here's why: after you finish the program, you are gifted an "after care" treatment program where you can reconnect with your fellow mates and discuss life after treatment. This is offered free for the first 6 months after you're released. I was so looking forward to this part of the program but getting anyone to contact me regarding the service was like pulling teeth. This is offered free for the first 6 months after you're released. I was so looking forward to this part of the program but getting anyone to contact me regarding the service was like pulling teeth. I think I was maybe informed of 2 upcoming events AFTER I begged someone to put me on the email list. (Both of which I was unable to attend, unfortunately) I didn't get a chance to go to my last one and I even sent an email inquiring about it (to no avail) after being reassured time and time again they would be in contact with me. I was the one who had to reach out multiple times to check in and I, as the patient, should not be responsible for that. It was very frustrating. Now my time is up and I didn't get to go to one after care visit. It's disheartening! :(
I will say, the absolute golden light of this place is the therapist Japriest Jerry. He is the most dedicated, patient, loving and caring therapist I've ever had the joy of working with. Because of this man alone, he is worth the cost of treatment at this center. I adore him!
As for their so called promised after care for patients, again, not the best which was extremely disappointing! I will add- while under the care there, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. But, I felt "forgotten" afterwards. I don't know if my fellow colleagues went through similar experiences, this is just what I personally went through.

Glad there is a place in town for people with eating disorders. There has been a change in management and the atmosphere is different now. The old management was wonderful. I'm glad I attended under the old staff. Nancy and the other therapists were great. Individual and group therapy helped a lot. Sue was a great nutritionist. Compassionate and understood the struggles I was dealing with. Still would recommend this place if you have an eating disorder and good private insurance just w...

They saved my life. Literally. I spent over a year here with severe depression post a suicide attempt. They are now my trusted family. As a member of the military, I was used to holding things in but I’m in a much better place after their loving care. Best experience I could’ve had and an amazing staff.

Where do i begin the front office staff are so welcoming and patient especially Mrs. Diana. She has a heart for people and is very understanding. I don’t remember the director’s s name but I can tell she cares more about making sure you get what you came for (healing). The interns that oversee the sessions at night are so supportive and knowledgeable. They all make a an awesome team.

It's only been a short time, but I'm very happy with the program so far. Group therapy is new to me, but it's been so affirming and eye-opening to talk things out with people who understand what I'm going through. The therapists and medical staff have been wonderful. Angela, Grace, Toya, and Sheila have been a delight to work with and are so knowledgeable and understanding. If you can, please don't hesitate to give them a try. You won't regret it!

I've given one star because I had too and also because the people I dealt with were very nice. However, I believe this place is guilty of fake google reviews. I took my granddaughter here for help with her bipolar disorder and they had no clue what to do for or with her. She enjoyed the group therapy sessions and was looking forward to getting better. Yet, the psychiatrists and other staff members would pull her out of group time and time again asking her about being suicidal and how would she carry out a plan if she had one. Finally, she made up something and then was discharged from the facility after 7 days for supposedly being suicidal. They'd also informed me that they'd called in meds for her, to control her mood swings, and that never panned out. She's now in therapy and on meds and is doing fine. She did inform the intake intern that she'd been suicidal before but that happened when she was in the 8th grade; she's now 22. If you or a family member is really in need of help, look elsewhere.

I am so thankful the greater Memphis area has a place of healing and hope like this. The counselor I saw at the Transformation Center was so kind, welcoming, and understanding. She put me at ease and helped me to decide what course of action was best for me. She smiled a lot and was truly compassionate. The center is a great place because it combines the various elements needed for eating disorder recovery, such as nutrition counseling, individual therapy, and group therapy. I would recommend...

I was referred by my psychiatrist to review Transformation on their website. I was falling into a deep depression and anxiety. My psychologist agreed I needed more therapy. Reluctantly I started Transformation’s therapy (virtually due to COVID-19). A long time ago I had been in workshops in a hospital. Transformation’s therapy doesn’t compare to those workshops. The therapist were very inviting and so were the other patients. They make me feel I’m that I am a good person, I’m there wit...

The therapist were very inviting and so were the other patients. They make me feel I’m that I am a good person, I’m there with no judgment, and never have to say your sorry. The psychiatrist is wonderful and listens to your needs. I can’t say enough about the nurse who checked me in everyday went over and beyond to help me! The group therapists are outstanding! There’s two therapist in particular, I can’t thank enough! I’m currently in outpatient therapy. The patients are my second family, I will never forget how we all work together to learn how to cope, use tools and skills. Everyone at Transformation is a blessing to me. GOD brought Transformation to me to learn and grow and believe I am WORTHY!
THANK YOU TO TRANSFORMATION AND OTHERS! Words cannot describe how much I love you all!
