The Salvation Army provides residents of Hawaii access to family-based treatment services that address the emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of each individual. Each program has its own length required by clients, but the overall length of the entire recovery process depends entirely on the client and the clinician they work with. Available services include medical monitoring, addiction education, case management, various therapeutic services, and support groups. As a family-inclusive program, clients are encouraged to include their loved ones throughout every part of the recovery process. Including family members allows men and women the chance to address any shortcomings within the home that need to be treated alongside the specific individual. Along with the specific services that address addiction, The Salvation Army also offers access to supportive housing, nutritional guidance, and employment assistance.

I called for 5 days straight and would not be admitted because of fentanyl use. I was never even given a call back and the screening lasted but 1 minute until I said the word fentanyl. I quite doing the fentanyl ans have still been discriminated against for a detox that is a lofe or death situation for me yet is a burden to them as I’ve been hung up on twice and I’m getting a lawyer for false advertisement. On their webpage, it says the only eligibility is to be 18 years old and a substance a...

I would like to express my absolute disgust with the staff at this facility. I was trying to get information for my nephew to call and receive treatment. The first person I spoke with was Ericka. While trying to explain my nephew's needs, she cut me off and said that she was with a client and have my nephew Ryan call. Okay I have Ryan call and he speaks with Steve. I'm on the phone with Steve first trying to explain why we're calling. Steve to me doesn't sound very pleasant. Ryan answ...

Detox is a place to find out what you really want to do in life. It's certainly a great start. I'm glad they have a place like this. At the same note don't waste the chance you've been given. I didn't.

This is a disgusting “treatment” center that capitalizes off addicts that are stuck in Hawaii’s jail system and trying to get help. The curriculum itself is identical to the programs they have in jail that doesn’t focus on rehabilitation or learning to transition back into society. The “counselors” do the bare minimum to keep their funding alive and try their best to keep the people in this program stuck inside their system. If you have the choice I would strongly recommend getting help elsew...

I had a terrible experience here. I volunteered to come to this program after experiencing difficulties trying to quit by myself. Ended up being a horrible experience. I would not recommend this treatment program. The workers here don’t care about the clients as the majority are people coming out of prison who don’t want to be there.

I find it funny listening to people giving this place ad reviews because the staff isn't nice to them. You apparently know nothing of addiction or recovery. You baby an addict, you bury an addict....period.
