I attended intensive outpatient back in 2021 for major depression where the Meadows me go off my ADHD medication prior to beginning because it was a stimulant in which they drug test randomly for and claimed that being on it would "affect my brain function" during my intensive outpatient experience (I was only on 10 mg extended release Adderall). My psychiatrist (who is board-certified and has practiced for nearly a decade) even pleaded for me and offered to write a letter to Meadows administration saying I am prescribed this medication and do not abuse it as she was seeing me every other week to closely monitor me, but they refused to accept any documentation. I even met with the psychiatrist who only spoke with me once for less than 10 minutes to get to know my personal background (employment, school, family life, etc.) and afterwards she refused to allow me ADHD medication.
Towards the last couple weeks of treatment, I found out another woman in my group was allowed to take Adderall for ADHD because we were required to share our drug test results with members of our therapy group, which is also a HIPAA violation. I was very disappointed with this outcome and felt I was overall treated unfairly. To be clear, I was not there for substance or alcohol abuse, but for major depression that I struggled with at the time. I felt that I was not able to get as quality of treatment because I started to experience dissociation/psychosis after being off ADHD medication, making it difficult for me to focus on what was being taught during my treatment, which I also made my therapist and administration aware of. I really do not recommend this facility to anyone prescribed medications like stimulants due to the risk of Meadows altering your medication treatment.

I really enjoy working for the Meadows and believe the staff are genuine and really do want to help others.

Meadows Outpatient has truly changed my life for the better. During the 8 week program, I was able to work through my trauma and get a better grasp on my mental health. The therapy I received here was beyond amazing, and I recommend Meadows to anyone struggling with mental health or addiction.
The staff here are all truly so loving, welcoming, and caring. Thank you so much to my therapist and the rest of the staff for changing my life.

I will keep coming back and encourage that if you have a love one that need help......make the call and get them connected. If you are the love one of someone fighting addiction or a mental disorder......come and work on you!!!

Our 25 year old son was suffering from severe depression and attempted suicide. we searched for help and referred to the Meadows by a friend. What a waste of time and money. In 6 weeks he saw a professional only 1 time. The variety of therapy sessions, conducted by non-professional staff, were not helpful at all. If you or a loved one are looking for help without an addiction look elsewhere. We did finally get some great help from a professional who is now seeing our son on a weekly basis and making a huge difference in his life. Just wish I did not waste the thousands on the meadows.

They deserve no stars . Meadows and wickenburg are all about money. They do not care about the patients. There facility in wickenburg is runned down and the staff in both facilities are rude and discurtutious. Do not go there. They do not have compassion for patients. It’s all about the money.

I love the Meadows! It’s like a resort rehabilitation center with an awesome staff. My husband came here for treatment of his addiction and successfully completed his 2 months of IOP. I have been attending family night counseling with him since he started his treatment with counselor Caroline Becker and have learned so much about myself in this process, the disease, and how to be a loving and supportive spouse. I’ve learned valuable tools on how to move forward with recovery that will last a lifetime. Caroline and everyone at the Meadows have been so loving, kind, compassionate and impactful.

I had an amazing experience at the Meadows IOP. The staff is so helpful in making sure you get the best care possible. There are a variety of state of the art treatment methods available to use over the course of your time there. During the COVID-19 pandemic the Meadows took every precaution to ensure the safety of the patients. Highly Recommended.
