Heartland house was cool . Just didn’t like the fact that the house had different groups and one group got to go out more than the others. Rich is awesome . Also I had a bad experience next door wen I moved out and in to their sober living . There was this dude that was there for a while and this guy would notice everything. Telling admin I didn’t shower but I would shower at the gym . He also lied about me not staying at the house . Overall they get a 3 cause I did learn a lot from them

I wanted to take a moment and show my appreciation for the Heartland House and their ongoing mission to help struggling men rebuild their lives so that they may return to society as productive citizens. Specifically, the staff is incredible and well trained, especially the counselor by the name of Beck Jolly. My experience in Mr. Jolly's groups not only taught me how to have fun in sobriety, but was also extremely informative and effective in educating me about relapse prevention. Beck's cou...

The Hearltand House is a phenomenal program that has truly helped me understand the disease of addiction. During my stay I was provided the guidance and practical tools necessary to truly understand recovery. Beck Jolly was one of my primary counselors and group leaders that helped me to get my life back and live a meaningful and productive life without the use of drugs and alcohol. Beck, Melissa and the rest of the staff truly care and showed my why it worth doing the work. I highly reco...

Life is a beautiful journey with no comparison, but with that being said, the adventure reaches points of darkness filled with hopelessness. I had reached the end of all options and realized that I could no longer make sense of my life so I did something I hadn’t been able to do in the depths of my active addiction. I reached out and asked for help. To this day it was the greatest choice I have ever committed to in bettering my life. Walking into the Heartland House I had no understanding of...

"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." My stay at the Heartland House was a life changing experience for me. All the staff, down to the cooks were amazing! My case manager S. Regaila showed concern in areas that i needed and took extra time with me to make sure my short term goals that i had set were achieved. All the way to helping me sign up for Fall semester in College. She made sure i went into depth on all my assignments, and simply care more than an...

I spent 3 1/2 months at heartland house and had a great experience. My life is more calm and manageable through the coping skills I've learned and continued to practice. All the staff have been helpful and my counselor (Beck) was a big benefit in my sobriety. I now hold a job and i'm able to play all the roles in my life such as Father, son, employee, friend, and servant. I go to meetings regularly and try to be of service to the world. Heartland house was my foundation and I'm grateful to th...
