This specific location of Tarzana Treatment offers outpatient services to men, women, and adolescents who are in need of more flexible services. Because this program requires fewer hours of participation each week, clients are able to fit their recovery into daily life without having to sacrifice work, school, or family care. This program lasts approximately 8 weeks long, consists of different phases, and includes up to 6 months of aftercare support. The initial phase of treatment consists of addiction education, relapse prevention planning, family education, and introduction to the 12 steps. The main goal of phase two is to overcome any obstacles that may be preventing the client from maintaining their sobriety. Clients will work with their treatment team and their loved ones to develop a recovery plan that can assist in this process. Phase three of IOP helps teach life skills that can help with day-to-day life. Clients of Tarzana Treatment Centers will also have access to various forms of mental health counseling and family-inclusive programs that address addiction within the home.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION ATTENDING THIS TREATMENT CENTER: If you have children, do not bring them here at all. These workers do not keep anything confidential, they are mandated reporters & are awaiting the chance to make calls to dcfs. I came here to this center one time, my sons father had an appointment with a counselor & had been receiving services from Tarzana. This one day that I was present & my child was present, I come to later find out a dcfs call was made with allegations about my sons...

The workers are not helpful and incredibly rude! I came in three months sober I had to do court ordered meetings and The meetings just made me want to get high. They try to take credit for my sobriety but I came in sober on my own. they are very unhelpful

I came here 4:30 June 15 2022 I came with my friend Israel with great intentions to change our live and positive the workers here were disrespectful and rude the whole time and denied to help us when we pleaded n pleaded for help they told us come back tomorrow acting like they can't help us now when we're already inside and it's not closed n my friend was in tears crying to get a better life for his daughter n then didn't show any emotion or care they didn't even look at us in the face the s...

Good luck getting a hold of someone for further assessment, I am amazed after calling and waiting on hold for an entire week and NEVER getting a hold of someone or a call back. Each phone call ended the same: "I will send an email to them and they will call you back." NEVER happened, front desk even stated there were no notes indicating anybody attempted to reach me. How can people expect to receive treatment if none can be found?

I've only been four times, but to me, the people I saw and talked with were professional, polite, and very helpful. I felt comfortable after a few moments which does not come easy. I would recommend Monica (and Vicki) to anyone.

As a visitor, you might want to stay away from this place, especially if you are Hispanic. If you're late a few minutes, you will not be allowed in, unless you're black or white. On a recent visit my 80 year-old mother and I were a few minutes late, along with several other folks. A black lady that appeared to be in charge that day came out and said she could not let us in. However when a black gentleman and his wife approached her, she let them in. Another white lady asked to go the bathroom...
