I decided to give this place a try a few months back. It seemed like a nice , clean establishment with kind receptionists. Once I was taken back for intake is when things got uncomfortable. The intake manager seemed very cold and almost gave me a judgmental feeling every time I would respond to questions. This ultimately stopped me from answering completely and honestly. Not only this, but she told me that the only reason I felt so bad was because my blood pressure was in "stroke territory". ...

Rough. Honestly. Nurses need to learn that the people in there have reason for being in there, and should be treated carefully and with respect. Disappointed. Professionals are supposed to be the people who are there for us, kind, so we can reach out. The amount of people that respected and treated me with care I met were scarce. Half of those people weren't even the ones that watched over us. Do better.

This place does not help you. I remember being put on the 24/7 watch program because I am epileptic (have seizures) and workers would come right up to the bed to watch me. I remember when I was still on the 24/7 watch program the night shift worker went out into the hallway to have a phone conversation. I also recall when the nurses decided just because I have seizures does not mean I need to be 24/7 watch program being pushed aside. The food there sucked, the care sucked, and I might have s...

I came here when I was 17 and on the verge of ending my life, I stayed here a little over a week and it truly saved my life, the nurses are so sweet and caring, the food is amazing and overall such a good place, I’m almost 19 now. If I didn’t come here i genuinely don’t think I’d still be here today.

I checked myself in here for my anxiety and I absolutely hated it. The staff was so rude and the doctor was completely unprofessional. Started yelling at me. They just don’t seem like they actually care they’re just to get their paycheck.

I share this experience as someone who has experience as a psychiatric social worker: Absolutely zero communication from staff to patient or staff to social supports. Zero initiative to ensure appropriate safety and discharge planning. And if you ask to speak with a treatment team member (there was a confirmed ROI on file), front staff doesn’t want to call the person and ask their availability or say family wants to speak with someone - we had to call that staff member from the front desk wit...

My daughter was taken there by her mother and she was pink slipped after lying to the intake provider saying she was suicidal. My daughter was not suicidal. I showed her my parenting agreement and was denied the ability to take my daughter home. Even after showing them that my daughter was taken in on an exchange day ( Father’s Parenting Time) she was not released. I am furious with this place and seeking to sue for false imprisonment. This is not a place you want to take your child

I almost died after they put me on Zoloft, went to the ER under their care, twice, both times the doctor said lay off the Zoloft they at Sun still begged me to take the Zoloft, so I took it because I didn’t want to have to stay longer, when I finally got out of their went to the ER, I had burst a lung sack WHILE at Sun because of side effects of the medicine they put me on. I stayed at St Anne’s hospital for another week and I’ve got appointment after appointment to check up my physical heali...
