Pacific Solstice has new options and treatments for mental health that many families and individuals need and have been looking for.Thank you Rams, Brianna, Britten, Narges, and Anh for sharing information about Pacific Solstice. They were so personable and attentive.
Also, I had the opportunity to visit their office! The style of the clinic is modern, clean, welcoming and comfortable. It didn’t feel like I was in a hospital. I think just that alone sets them apart from many other clinics. You can really tell that this team has put lots of thought and effort in their mission and their environment to make it a safe place for their clients. From their dedicated team, and amazing guidance for families and individuals, I see why they have such successful improvements! I hope to see this company continue to grow and help people every step of the way.

Update: They followed up with me after I wrote this review and offered aftercare treatment which was therapy with a therapist, Anh, once a week for a month and then every other week. I was told that my poor care during treatment was due to them opening the Texas facility and not transferring me to a new case manager that wasn't moving to the Texas facility. They still haven't added me to alumni post-graduation group email list after multiple attempts.

This place helped me not follow through with my suicide plan, however, it's not the best facility for everyone but it's probably the best PHP/IOP facility in the area because most of them suck.
Negatives:
* Appointments not on time if ever, they will pull you out of group randomly
* Family meetings not on time, severely disappointing given that my family had to take time off to attend the meeting that never happened and that was never rescheduled before my graduation or after
* Didn't follow up after graduation as promised, and even after I called and complained they didn't bother following up anyways They also didn't follow up with me about doing MERT as promised.
* Didn't refill medication on time multiple times, the front desk manager Carla was informed multiple times and several other staff I pleaded to get my meds filled but happened way late and missed several days of a critical medication I was on
* Lunches provided 3x/wk are always grilled cheese sandwiches with ham.
* Many groups were led by nurse practitioners trying to get their mental health/psych certificate and other interns that were not licensed therapists. It felt like many of them had no clue of what they were doing and did not teach helpful classes. For example, Princess' classes were PowerPoint lectures that were structured horribly and very word heavy. Daniel's groups were horrible, he was there to simply "facilitate" aka babysit a group of adults and repetitively ask if what he was doing was "ok"
* Severe language barriers some group facilitators which led to poor learning experience
* Small group rooms with little ventilation and temperature control which is a severe health and safety risk. Half of their rooms are either extremely cold or extremely hot and stuffy depending which side of the building it is.
* There is no personal therapist during your stay here, it's simply for learning skills and trying to form social bonds with other struggling group members. So called "personal therapist" meetings are with your case manager who only fills out paperwork with you and answers some concerns and gives general safety recommendations. Sometimes the case manager doesn't keep their meeting and you end up having to have a case manager meeting with one of the unqualified interns.
* The nutritionist meetings are based on the government "my plate" standards, was not helpful
* Poor facility intercommunication. Not all the staff members are on the same page with the rules of the facility, one of the staff members will drill you about rules that no one else follows or even knows about. You have to ask multiple people for help and it's completely exhausting and I gave up many times and did not feel heard.
* They throw you into the program without giving you your handbook or having anyone walk you through the rules section. You'll randomly get the Pacific Solstice handbook whenever they give it to you
* Parking is not free. They give you stickers but you'll end up paying $7-$10 a day if you park in the parking structure. You can park in the Amazon Fresh parking lot and walk over, and pray you don't get a ticket.
Positives:
* Better than most places in the area by far
* If you get lucky you'll meet some friends and build a support network, however this is not guaranteed
* Yoga classes in the evening with a wonderful instructor
* Anh was my favorite staff member here and licensed therapist, she really takes the time to listen and feels like you're talking to someone who wants to help
* The lobby and group waiting area is spacious and well decorated. They provide snacks, coffee, and tea.

I am a local resident of Ladera Ranch, and part of the small business community in South Orange County. Very recently, I had the unique opportunity to experience an extended visit to the Solstice Pacific facility here in Mission Viejo. This is a beautiful, inviting, soothing, state-of-the-art psychological treatment facility offering an extensive range of innovative, cutting edge and traditional care services to its clients. To accommodate their growing clientele, I was told that very soon they will be launching their new 24-hour care facility at the beach in San Clemente, as well as a new facility in Dallas. Their unique approach obviously meets the needs of a rapidly growing client base. One aspect of the organization & staff I was impressed with is what they define as their “family” approach to every aspect of care. The staff members are very relaxed, friendly, caring and accessible. The interaction between staff & clients appears seamless. For example, at lunchtime, I observed the staff & clients sharing their gorgeous, peaceful, expansive lunch area, nurturing Solstice Pacific’s “family” atmosphere which patients really seem to appreciate. So, with everything from music to yoga classes as part of their care curriculum, it is easy to see why the successful Solstice Pacific approach is in such high demand. To get a taste of it, I’d suggest spending some time on their website, which is very informative, has photos & backgrounds of the staff, photos of the very well-appointed facility, and has some touching success stories too. Of course, a visit to the Solstice Pacific facility would be the next step. All the best.

They have a very holistic approach in treating their clients. We do lot of normal activities and fun activities along with intensive therapy sessions. This is a very well thought program and unlike any other clinics I have been to. The place is inviting, staff is approachable and everybody is involved with your process of healing. They have outstanding therapists along with licensed psychiatrists and nutritionist on their staff. They work with you on your daily progress and hence you are accountable for your own healing. I have learned so many skills from this program and using everyday and can’t thank them enough for bringing my True self back!! I have made lifelong connections with my peers and staff here and I call them my extended family. We have been bonded forever!! I would recommend this place for anybody who is struggling with mental health issues without any hesitation.

I recently completed the comprehensive, intensive therapy program. I have been to other programs but they do NOT compare to Pacific Solstice. Pacific Solstice is second to none! My growth through the process has been amazing. I went in as angry, cynical, and full of severe anxiety and panic. Pacific Solstice taught me ways to be my TRUE self and live a life past the anger and anxiety. The program is a lot of work but I'm telling you now that the hard work is worth the freedom I feel with...
