This is a terrible facility that I would not recommend to my worst enemy. They do not care about client care at all and will discharge you for the stupidest reasons. Patty is a dictator and is a terrible counselor and Robyn is self centered and her "Buh-bye" is childish. Both "counselors" must have earned their "degree" off a counterfeit website because their methods are absolite and ineffective. This place is a joke and taught me nothing. Both "counselors" must have earned their "degree" off a counterfeit website because their methods are absolite and ineffective. This place is a joke and taught me nothing. Kim smelt of alcohol and discriminated me in front of the group and is a sad excuse of a counselor. Luis needs a drug test as I'm sure he's snorting lines before or during work. This place will not help you and I recommend you seek assistance elsewhere..

Toxic environment. Truly vile discourse among patients is commonplace (i.e., sexism) and not discouraged by staff.
Additionally, my counselor wrote a substance use evaluation that didn't reflect my experience at all! She essentially blamed my addiction for all my problems, including my having to flee from domestic violence, saying I needed to "repair relationships" with my abusive family! I feel so disgusted, violated, and utterly betrayed.

Last place I'd recommend to anyone for treatment. That place drove me insane. They play tricks on you in that place and mind games. I ended up in CSC(Washington states Crisis Solutions Center) after just a couple of days there.

You get out of it what YOU put into it. Every person's reason for going there is different,...so ...consider this before being discouraged by some of the negative reviews. I had the time of my life there, because of the other people in the community, and the staff members. The two cooks were something else, but...the food was pretty good. If you're truly there, for the right reasons, you'll do fine at Sea Mar!!! I'm an alcoholic overcoming myself, and I am forever grateful for my Sea Mar exper...

This was the first step to my recovery and I will for ever be thankful. I read reviews comparing treatment center to jail and saying staff did nothing. This treatment center is for adults and I would not describe it as a intensive treatment center. I used this center simply to start to break bad habits, clear my head and begin the journey to recovery.

I just recently had the opportunity to have a 30 day vacation to find myself and to access my life. The time I spent here were well used and the seamar staff were great about attending to all of my needs. The food was decent but don't expect to lose any weight, aint gonna happen. I met a lot of good people there and hope we stay in touch on this never ending journey we all have. The packets we had to do were pretty outdated and repetitive but they got what they were trying to teach us. Lot...

Lots of smoke breaks during the day,Hank, one of the staff members provided cigarettes if you couldn't afford any, which was awesome, out of his own pocket. My overall experience was a very positive one.Thank you Seamar Staff. I was sent to that facility for 30 days for smoking marijuana and within 48 Hours of being there I was sexually assaulted by a fellow addict and no one was there to do anything about it I do not recommend this facility and I wish they would shut it down if you love your loved ones don't send them here oh and there was drugs EVERYWHERE. People sneaked in and out of the Windows and had sex with others. And no staff saw or checked or nothing. TOTALLY unprofessional!

Have you ever been to treatment, here? I would suggest NOT to, and pick another place. Most of the staff has broken English that is very difficult to understand, especially on the PA System. You have to wait at least 20 minutes in line to get your meds. The food is cheap starch, so prepare to gain weight, even if you try not to. The bedrooms are in a basement where the black tile is ice cold, so getting up at 6am every morning is even more strenuous than it should be. The mandatory walk each ...

You have to wait at least 20 minutes in line to get your meds. The food is cheap starch, so prepare to gain weight, even if you try not to. The bedrooms are in a basement where the black tile is ice cold, so getting up at 6am every morning is even more strenuous than it should be. The mandatory walk each morning is definitely in the bad part of town. My counselor Roslyn was too busy to give me the attention I deserved, even during our individual sessions, answering phones and constantly having other staff knock on the door - Patty's a hard-ass, but if you can...get HER, if you're a girl. At least she cares. I never even got back the coloring books that my Mom & sister brought me, because they needed "approval" from Roslyn, which never happened. COLORING BOOKS! The only good thing I have to say about the place is that you get to watch a movie in the evenings, it's one of the only places left with 5 smoke breaks a day (men & women separated - they don't tell you this because it may seem obvious, but do NOT ever, anywhere, sit and chat with the opposite sex), and there's some "ok" exercise equipment on the outside balcony. Be sure for at least three inches of packets (homework) to fill out, over the course of 30 days - not even kidding. But it just made me feel like I defined myself as an even bigger failure. Just...go someplace else. Better.
