Aside from all the negative reviews, the hospital is actually very resourceful if you let it be. A lot of people here tend to not let themselves get better and assume that medicine is the only thing that is going to help them. If you really want to get better, you have to learn to help yourself and let this place be of guidance. The staffing is pretty decent ,techs are very helpful and the nurses are the best. Never really had issues with management. As long as you follow the protocol and all...

I had a loved one admitted to SABH and their experience was horrible. Being on the other side, the lack of communication and disrespect from staff is absolutely insane. I did not hear from my loved one for multiple hours after their intake process, and it turns out they were harassed by another resident and NOTHING was done about it. My loved one described the facility as dirty as there was feces and blood on the walls. Trying to find my loved one after they had finished the intake process wa...

My daughter was taken to this hospital under court order. This place is horrible in many ways. It was very difficult to get in touch with the nurses. I called twice a day to check on my daughter and to get updates. The communication was terrible. I requested everyday to speak with a Doctor and case manager to see what the plan of care was and to plan for discharge. I was told the doctors don’t call because they are very busy. About case management I was told they will call me a few days bef...

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with! Especially Alexis who lies to you. Alexis is the patient advocate that screens her calls and never calls you back! What kind of patient advocates do not help families with problems! They also did not inform a mother as to which medications they have tried on your child even if I directly told them to not use that particular medication! Ohhhhh and things come up missing there so don’t take anything of value

I wish I could give this place zero stars my brother is there and every nurse I’ve talked to is rude and not helpful! The doctor that he saw he said sped through the questions and then put an order for him to be admitted when he is not a risk to himself or others. This place just wants to take money from the insurance and keeps people who don’t need to be kept. Even a nurse said the therapist and MD is a free service but to see the psychiatrist will be a charge. Your facility is a joke and ne...

An adult relative was a patient in this facility. My experience is from communicating with the staff/employees from the outiside. At first it was difficult getting any information since the patient is an adult. After the patient gave consent we were able to get in contact with the patient. The staff gave minimal information (which is understandable due to patients privacy) but gave enough within the patients consent. Once the patient mentioned they could not sleep due to hearing others scream...

It is impossible to talk to a therapist or doctor involved in your loved one’s care. Family remains in the dark regarding treatment because no one reaches out and you keep circling in the phone tree. Operator consistently picks up without saying a word and puts you on hold to never return. If you are lucky you call at the right time to get a great nurse like Melinda to share information with you and allow you to share insight on your loved one. Much improvement needed. Need to partner with fa...

The amount of mistreatment I had to go through during my stay here was absolutely disgusting. No one is here to help you. Trust the reviews and do not go here. Half the nurses were rude, some laughed in my face when I asked for help. You never see your therapist. I saw mine only twice during my week long stay, and I had to practically hunt her down just to see her the second time. Before I saw her the second time, she had lied when I kept asking staff to see her, they were told she had alread...
