Aside from all the negative reviews, the hospital is actually very resourceful if you let it be. A lot of people here tend to not let themselves get better and assume that medicine is the only thing that is going to help them. If you really want to get better, you have to learn to help yourself and let this place be of guidance. The staffing is pretty decent ,techs are very helpful and the nurses are the best. My loved one described the facility as dirty as there was feces and blood on the walls. Trying to find my loved one after they had finished the intake process was difficult as well as NO ONE called me about how the process works. I had to call multiple times just to find out what unit they were in, and the staff was extremely short and rude each time. I tried getting in contact with my loved one the next day and throughout their stay and I was left on hold for 15 minutes or more each call and transferred multiple times because they couldn't find her. During their stay, my loved one had a medical emergency which required urgent care and they were denied medical attention and was told that the doctors would get to them eventually. They asked for help at 3am and was not seen by a doctor until 5pm. The staff and doctors would not let them or me know when they would be discharged and never reached out to let me know the status of my loved one. I would NOT recommend this facility and I hope it gets shut down!

My daughter was taken to this hospital under court order. This place is horrible in many ways.

It was very difficult to get in touch with the nurses. I called twice a day to check on my daughter and to get updates. The communication was terrible. I requested everyday to speak with a Doctor and case manager to see what the plan of care was and to plan for discharge.
I was told the doctors don’t call because they are very busy. About case management I was told they will call me a few days before her discharge.
I had to go out of town for a few days but I still called every day even though it took forever to get somebody to answer the phone.
On January 26 I talked to the nurse that morning as usual to get an update later that afternoon I got a Phone call from Johanna Lopez case manager telling me that my daughter was going to be discharged that day. I told her I was out of state and that nobody told me about her discharge even though I had talked to the nurse that morning. Johanna was rude and pushy. She said that if nobody picked her up that day that she was going to be send to a shelter and that I was not going to be able to talk to my daughter again. Told her to please not to send my daughter home since there was nobody there to open the door I told her she cannot be home alone outside since she is mentally ill. This woman was not listening on how unsafe was to send her home. I was in disbelief about all this.i made few phone calls to see if someone could pick her up. A few minutes later I found out they sent my daughter home on a shuttle with no belongings.
I was very confused because Johanna Lopez was calling me to discharge my daughter home but she was already home. Whose daughter was she trying to discharge???😡
I called the patient advocate to explain the unsafe discharge and about my daughter’s Belongings which I haven’t gotten back yet.
I finally made it home and I went to the hospital to try to get my daughter’s belongings and to talk to the Patient advocate Alexis but she wasn’t available at the time so I asked to speak with the administrator or house supervisor. The woman at the front desk was very rude and condescending. I was treated very badly even though I’m a parent.
I have never been so disrespected like this. If this is how they treat the patients or family members how do they treat our kids when we are not there?
This place is a shame to healthcare.
The State has been notified.
I would really like to speak with the CEO but they refused to give me the name or number.
Advice from a parent to everyone who reads this ….
Do not take any of your loved ones there.
I wish I could give them a “0” instead of one star.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with! Especially Alexis who lies to you. Alexis is the patient advocate that screens her calls and never calls you back! What kind of patient advocates do not help families with problems! They also did not inform a mother as to which medications they have tried on your child even if I directly told them to not use that particular medication! Ohhhhh and things come up missing there so don’t take anything of value

I wish I could give this place zero stars my brother is there and every nurse I’ve talked to is rude and not helpful! The doctor that he saw he said sped through the questions and then put an order for him to be admitted when he is not a risk to himself or others. This place just wants to take money from the insurance and keeps people who don’t need to be kept. Even a nurse said the therapist and MD is a free service but to see the psychiatrist will be a charge. Your facility is a joke and ne...

He said that they barely gave him any food this morning and he had to wait until 930am to eat when he’s been there since 3am! You treat the patients like they don’t matter and it’s ridiculous all the staff need to be retrained on how to properly care for patients and treat the families with a little more empathy or stop being nurses if they don’t like dealing with people. With all these negative reviews you would think someone would investigate this trash facility and shut it down!

An adult relative was a patient in this facility. My experience is from communicating with the staff/employees from the outiside.
At first it was difficult getting any information since the patient is an adult. After the patient gave consent we were able to get in contact with the patient. The staff gave minimal information (which is understandable due to patients privacy) but gave enough within the patients consent.

Once the patient mentioned they could not sleep due to hearing others screaming & once witnessed a physical altercation between patients.
I don't know how the staff treats the patients but I can imagine they are overwhelmed & do what they can day in and day out.
I do know that our loved one came out mentally better & I'm grateful to the medical staff & all others that helped get them to that stage.
I do wish the Dr's/counselors would contact the loved ones & ask information as to the patients history so they can take that into consideration in the counseling treatments.
I will keep all of the employees in my prayers for God's guidance & to give them the clarity, strength & ability to help those that are there in need of mental health stability.

It is impossible to talk to a therapist or doctor involved in your loved one’s care. Family remains in the dark regarding treatment because no one reaches out and you keep circling in the phone tree. The amount of mistreatment I had to go through during my stay here was absolutely disgusting. No one is here to help you. Trust the reviews and do not go here. Half the nurses were rude, some laughed in my face when I asked for help. You never see your therapist. I saw mine only twice during my week long stay, and I had to practically hunt her down just to see her the second time. This place does not want you to heal, they only want your money. The things I mentioned are not even half of what I had to go through. I came here to heal and left with more trauma. This place needs to be investigated and shut down.
