Would absolutely never recommend The Rockford Center to anyone in a crisis. I have never been so misled in my life. I went to them to gain insight and advice and without them even explaining a single thing, my daughter is being forcibly admitted against our will, and I was told lie after lie after lie from multiple staff members. They use intimidation tactics to do things their way or they "reserve the right to commit longer". They used the word "transparent" so many times it was anything ...

Would absolutely never recommend The Rockford Center to anyone in a crisis. I have never been so misled in my life. I went to them to gain insight and advice and without them even explaining a single thing, my daughter is being forcibly admitted against our will, and I was told lie after lie after lie from multiple staff members. They use intimidation tactics to do things their way or they "reserve the right to commit longer". They used the word "transparent" so many times it was anything but transparent. They took blood from my daughter without my knowledge or consent. When my daughter asked for Tylenol for a migraine, the nurse literally tried to push a stronger medication on her and when she was adamant about only wanting Tylenol the nurse laughed at her and shut the door in her face. They never did her laundry until I raised a concern then POOF they are willing to do it. I took in sanitary items for her as she suffers from a horrible cycle, they never gave them to her. At 16 they had her roomed with a 12 year old. The staff talks about patients to other patients which is not only unethical, but also against HIPPA laws. Absolutely would never recommend Rockford for anyone. Do not go there yourself, and never bring your child to them. The only thing positive to come out of the whole experience is that I have become even more protective of my daughter!!!!

I was in this facility because I was having a difficult time sleeping. Not happy with this place at all. They come in your room while you are sleeping, & flash a lite right in your face. Some of the staff is nice, but others are not so nice. I didn't understand why they keep some of the things,that you need to use every day. Didn't make an sense to me. My adult son was just here. It is incomprehensible that this organization is still licensed to operate in Delaware. They sent him home without his shoes. How could they lose his shoes. In addition, their Doctor's are incompetent in prescribing appropriate medications. They told him his prescription of Benzetropine is for mood disorders for mood disorders. It is not, it is for Parkinson's like tremors. He has used it for 15 years since he is a cook and it helps him from cutting off his f...

As someone who values good healthcare, it was difficult to make substantial change here that was positive. Said she brought thc vape in ther which is lie cause they were elf bar vapes that are sold at gas station because I went n checked my self. So now they lied bout vape pens being thc. My mother is there now and i will be getting her out asap! She voluntarily checked herself if and after 5 days they doubled her dosage! When she was having side effects to it they said oh you're just having a panic attack and the lady refused to speak to her. Then when she did the nurse wanted to talk to her in the hallway with no privacy what do ever. She's terrified in there. If you care about your loved ones don't take them there! Now I have to fight to get my mom out. Rockford center is not a recovery center, it's a dirty jail. My husband had a much better experience at the Snyder house for veterans.
Response: just know that i will be be there with a habeas petition to get her out and if if face any interference you will be blasted over every social media site there is. You messed with the wrong child!
