Most of the staff were so understanding and compassionate. However, a nurse named Ross or Russ, (don't really remember what my girlfriend said his name was) was extremely rude to her. The chef was AMAZING! She can't stop talking about him. Now, about the cleanliness of the hospital. They definitely need to get some new housekeepers! When the wall was wiped with an alcohol wipe it changed color. The walls are extremely dirty, the beds themselves (not the mattresses so much), the tables in the ...

When the wall was wiped with an alcohol wipe it changed color. The walls are extremely dirty, the beds themselves (not the mattresses so much), the tables in the cafeteria, all of the rooms, and most of all the floors. Would recommend inpatient at this hospital to anyone looking for help. Their outpatient program is simply amazing! She comes home with a smile on her face every single time she goes to it!

I was there in 2017. These people saved my life. Being in a mental hospital was on of my biggest fears, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life and truly unforgettable. I was transported here from Thunderbird hospital after my 4th suicide attempt and they allowed my husband to stay with me until I had a room upstairs. The nurses were amazing and thoughtful and the food was awesome! I lost 5 pounds the 2 weeks I was there. The groups helped me and my doctor was amazed ho...

The nurses were amazing and thoughtful and the food was awesome! I lost 5 pounds the 2 weeks I was there. The groups helped me and my doctor was amazed how different I looked, felt and was by the end of my 2 weeks. They even assisted with my after care. I am happy to say I have not had an attempt since then. I just wanted to thank everyone who assisted in my care!!

After enduring a harmful trauma which led to a breakdown, I was a patient at Quail Run. My stay was truly life changing. I returned home feeling safe and back to my authentic self; strong, balanced, and empowered. From Housekeeping (I appreciate their incredibly hard work in doing a great job to maintain cleanliness in a challenging sanitary setting), to the Medical Director, the staff is top-notch! I gained a lot from the various groups we had, as well. The Dr's are very easy to communicate with. I found
them to be knowledgeable and very caring. I'd like to specifically mention RN's, Kristen, Charlotte and Desiree, Social Worker, Scott and Discharge Planner, Tarvis, who are all phenomenal. BHT's; Kayla (she always went the extra mile and never wavered from her incredibly kind, even keeled demeanor and professionalism), J.B. (he went above and beyond, more than once, for individuals and the group, he has the ability to maintain empathy and a sense of humor while being a truly extraordinary professional), Dana (she was extremely supportive and caring), and MaryAnne (she was always able to beautifully communicate and work with our group, even during the most stressful times). All of the above mentioned are outstanding professional individuals.
The IOP program is definitely the best one I've ever attended. I highly recommend it, as I highly recommend Quail Run overall. No person, place or thing is going to be perfect, or a perfect fit for everyone. Given the nature of the dynamics that lead us to seek help, finding an available bed, the work towards healing while receiving 24/7 safety, supportive care, and guidance, it is a major challenge. Yet, just as being in this situation is immensely stressful for patients and loved ones, it can also be as stressful for staff. I feel beyond fortunate to have landed at Quail Run, a safe haven in which to seek help. I'm very grateful for that. Thank you.

I was told they had a bed for me at 8pm, i was brought into the hospital by ambulance at 11pm, they then made me wait in the waiting room in an uncomfortable chair till 6am. When i arrived they had 2 adults first in line and a 12 year old as well, they ignored the old lady for hours but eventually put both adults in their rooms by 1am and left me and the 12 year old boy waiting in a locked room by ourselves till 6am. I was sent into a full blown panic attack because i was so tired and irritated i wasn’t getting help so they moved me to the adult waiting room and continued not to give me help. When i made it to my room at 6am they continued to only allow me to sleep till 10am so i only got 4 hours of sleep total. Upon leaving they lost my clothes and the only pair of shoes i own and made we walk out bare footed. They also do not allow you to nap during the day nor shower. I definitely recommend finding a different place for you or your family if you want proper care.

I hadn’t been to quail in about 2 years but honestly just thought about making a review and forgot this was available to do.
To shorten it up because there was a lot going on. I was in a wheelchair and one of the staff and I were making jokes and he grabbed my wheelchair and jerked my injured ankle (4days post op) slamming it on to the floor. To shorten it up because there was a lot going on. I was in a wheelchair and one of the staff and I were making jokes and he grabbed my wheelchair and jerked my injured ankle (4days post op) slamming it on to the floor. Second, I’m part of the LGBT community and he was asking some questions which I understand some people don’t know so I will be respectful as long as you are, but he ended up making very inappropriate comments in front another patient as well. I told the supervisor and I’m not sure if he’s still there.
The intake downstairs had misplaced all my hospital paperwork where I transferred from, all my drs and important paperwork was missing. Only good thing is they let me keep the wheelchair they gave me at the beginning of my stay. I know there’s nothing that can be done now, but it’s information to take in consideration when you’re going to get help and it does quite the opposite.

This place is the nicest in the valley for youth. We ended up spending a lot of time with a BHT named Ryan who was amazing and really helped us through the process and gave us ease knowing she would be cared for. You could tell how passionate he was about his job that made it a much easier transition. My daughter really connected with a tech named Maui too and LaShaun and her nurses too. All in all things were good. I would recommend teens to go here over other facilities in town we have been to

This place is horrible worse than jail. No heat. No space. Kindergarten counselors. If you’re thinking of sending someone there find someplace else. Cold and unfriendly. Notice how they address the positive reviews and say the same exact thing to all the negative reviews. That should be a sign right there. They don’t care was sent there in a lottery. I will say staff is caring as much as they can be but they’re sent human garbage every single day. Arizona should really shut this place down.le...

When he was discharged he was then assigned to IOP and Mrs. Grace became his therapist for group therapy. My son has NEVER liked going to therapy ...but... he has learned so much with Mrs. Grace, he has never complained about going and EVEN asks to go to his group each week!
I am noticing that he is finally utilizing his coping skills and starting to think through things that he normally would just react to, get angry or uncontrollable emotions. I appreciate that Mrs. Grace has helped me advocate for my son to be able to stay in his school and help the resource staff at school do what they are supposed to do for students. She has also stayed by his side and recommended further treatment due to another bullying situation at school. She was not quick to "let him go" unlike many other programs he has been a part of. (They seem to be numbers driven while she actually cares for her patients!) I am so thankful that we lucked out and got Mrs. Grace as a therapist for my son!
