I just moved to the area and cannot establish care. When you call to schedule, the phone just rings for 5 minutes, then disconnects. If you try talking to an operator, it immediately disconnects. I'm not entirely sure what I need to do to be seen, short of driving 40 minutes down there and trying in person. Something needs to be done about their phone situation, maybe hire more people if the current employees can't keep up with the volume. If that isn't the issue, maybe train the employees yo...

My recent optometry appointment was a great experience. The Pensacola VA facility is very clean and all my interactions with staff members were pleasant. Thorough eye exam in about 30 minutes. Thank you!

Worst VA I've ever dealt with. The phone endlessly rings when your trying to make an appointment. No one ever picks up which forces you to drive into the hospital to schedule in person. When you get there you are met with a long line and employees with attitudes. Its everything you would expect from a government bureaucracy.

I am new to the VA healthcare since I just retired after 2o years of service in the Air Force. I have called the number provided multiple times to make an appointment for mental health but no one is answering, even after letting it ring for 5 minutes or more. When I choose the option to talk to the operator, the line gets dropped so I would have to redial the number again. I am just trying to make my first appointment and yet it seems so impossible since no one is answering the phone!!!!

If I could give no stars to the VA Dental Clinic I would. The Doctors are non-responsive. Always wondered why the first question asked when a veteran calls a VA 800 number is are you considering suicide. Now I know, because the system is broke!

I read the comments of people complaining, and it makes no sense. I have received nothing short of excellent care from my Doctor, the Nurses and Staff. I worked in private healthcare, and this facility treats people better than ANY private hospital in the country.

I recently transferred to this clinic. The optometry clinic ordered me the best pair of lenses I've ever had. The primary care physician prescribed me two medications I never received on active duty that have helped a lot. He also referred me to an off-base foot specialist who has been incredible. And my dental cleaning was the most thorough I've ever received. I don't discount the negative experiences others have had here, but giving credit where credit is due. This clinic has been awe...

I've had several appointments and walk ins and found the Pensacola VA to be outstanding. Hearing , cardiology and general care were great.
