PaRC is empathetic and encouraging. Very warm welcome and consistent care throughout the intake process. They are a great facility and I would refer anybody to come here to change their lives!

I went to PaRC initially to get my wife and job off my back, expecting to be treated like a prisoner paying an exorbitant amount of money. I found a very caring environment where I found it safe to be completely honest about my using and lying. I discovered a new freedom, happiness, and a deep desire to change my way of life. They also provided financial assistance much better than anticipated. I now love going to PaRC aftercare groups and alumni meetings and their continued follow up has bee...

They are there to milk the insurance money. Also try to brain wash you into thinking you really do have a problem. I broke my back in 5 places and had multiple surgeries. I didn't get hardly any sleep because I was in pain all the time. Dr. Lt told me it's just a business and never did anything to help me get some sleep. Also Wendy really had a control attitude and I bumped heads with her every day. When I got out of there my Dr. Installed a pain pump and now able to function. I wouldn't sen...

It's not a bad place, not that I have others to compare it too but have been sober 2 years none the less. Though i honestly can't say that's the norm. I agree with Philip"s review whole heartily. There were AA meetings and classes etc. 4 times a day. Felt like Ann Frank hiding in the closet so i could have some alone time once in a while from AA. Because the activities are non stop. I get it, but it wouldn't be so bad if I felt more than half of the actives in total were actually helpful. I...

I started my treatment at Spring Shadows Glen in Houston. Right before I finished treatment there the facility closed and I finished my treatment at the PARC. I also did a year of aftercare at the PARC. Those 2 places saved my life. My insurance didn't approve me for inpatient so I was IOP. There were times I was afraid to leave at night because I did not want to relapse. The staff let me stay as long as possible every night. Great place and great staff.

It was the most horrible experience. Some of the group were yelled at. That Heather and that Nelly especially. Totally crazy.

I stayed a month at the parc and there were positives and negatives. The positives were Dr.Leath who is an amazing doctor, very smart and personable. Nurse Lilly was very engaged and good at her job. Jenny the greenhouse worker is great, she is very passionate about her plants and a joy to be around. The negatives are some of the nurses, mainly upstairs are obviously in it simply for a paycheck and don’t care about the clients. The chunky lunch lady hates her job and lets everyone know about ...

My family and I spoke with PARC intake/ admissions multiple times over two days to initiate a door to door transfer for a loved one in need of help. We were assured multiple times that we had nothing to worry about, they would be able to help her. If by some long shot they could not help, they would transfer to a facility that could. After a nearly 3 hour intake interview and with no warning, they stated that it wasn't the right facility and gave NO guidance on what to do next. The admissions...
