I’m sad to see all these bad reviews. This place was amazing! This place was where my story to recovery started. The staff here was so kind, patient and caring. Embarrassed to admit I had seen my fair share of these places and out of all of them this place was the best. God has a plan for all of us and this place was definitely part of my plan. Thank you so much to all the staff here and my nurse that got me a sprite and let me shave on my birthday 😂 and Shea thanks for letting me listen to m...

They were great overall! I felt like I was given ample food and attention. I did have trouble with my medication a little, but my doctor helped eventually. The snacks were good and got me healthy again!

I attended the 30 IOP program at this facility which touted itself as a premier mental health facility for people with mental health diagnoses including coexisting addiction issues. I expected thorough treatment in psychiatric and one on one therapy sessions. All it is is a 9 to 12pm group therapy session every single day with one psychiatrist visit during the stay and no one on one therapy. My insurance covered the entire cost. When I halfway through the program inquired about how much they ...

This place really helped me clear my head. The food ain’t bad either and they give you a nice sized portion. The only thing I’d say wasn’t the best was that some of the group leaders didn’t care much about the group, they just wanted to do their job and leave. It’s understandable, but when you’re paying for treatment it’d be nice to receive as much guidance as possible, rather than feeling like you’re ruining someone’s day just by existing. But most everyone was very kind and helpful. Especia...

My daughter was admitted to this treatment facility with depression and anxiety. After a stay of 7 days, she was discharged. It seems that the criteria for discharge requires the patient to “ not be suicidal and to have the tools to manage anxiety “. She took her life 4 days later. She had returned home in no better shape than when she left. The communication was nonexistent, and telephone calls were rarely returned. She said that the staff were rude and the food was not edible. This is a rev...

For the most part very pleased with my stay. AB in unit 3 made a world of difference with how she interacted with everyone. Only part that was an issue was medical staff needs a little more training on Type 1 diabetes. They deal with type 2 more often and sometimes it seemed to mess with them. But they were fantastic and listened when I explained things to them.

Just watched The Program on Netflix. Wow did that really hit home with my experiences in 1991-1994. It was called Charter then, but it destroyed my relationship between my father and I in my developmental years. I never really forgave him for putting me through such a mind%^#k. It wasn't quite as bad as the WWASP programs, but the isolation rooms, food, control over communications, physical abuse, and massive doses of medications were very real. If you're a parent sending your troubled teen ...

I'm happy to say Palmetto has saved my life more than once. It could use some work in some areas but the staff there are wonderful and they made each day there so much easier. It did take me a few times but I finally got it right. And im doing so much better. AB and Asia are HANDS DOWN the best day and night time techs. 😉 The Drs, nurses and Mangment are amazing as well!
