Came in with a broken foot, hobbling on crutches looking for the right place to go. Front desk guy not only told me where he even got up and pushed the elevator button for me. Second floor desk gal possessed me quickly and sent me over to Dr Goodmans waiting area. His staff was wonderful x-rays done with the most comfortable position. Dr Goodman came in interduced himself, wanted to know how I broke my foot, explained what he thought was going to be the best for my recovery, explained the x-r...

I was there last night. Didn't have to wait long, staff were amazing! Some truly great nurses! They tried to help me and were very compassionate. I truly appreciate them.

I was here yesterday at the er from 2pm to 830pm. I only seen my nurse and doctor ONE time the entire time I was here. I got more answers from the lab people (which were phenomenal by the way). The person that came with me asked four people what was going on with me and they all said I’ll go check and find out and NONE of them ever came back! I had four EKGs done and three were abnormal and the last one said no significant changes so they sent me home. My blood pressure was elevated the entir...

I had shoulder surgery on May 11,2023. Dr Roeder(whom isn’t on staff anymore) and came out with a twisted bicep muscle that looks like a twisted twizzler licorice piece.i have almost no bicep strength in my left arm now. It feels like it’s ripping my muscle off when i use it. I’ve told my new Dr , Caleb Piate, he said we had to wait until my new surgery (carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve transposition) heals and then address it. Well it’s April 14, yesterday and my elbow is on fire. I go to bathr...

3 level ACDF, surgery went smooth, not much pain. Postoperative appointments were rushed and not informative at all. 6 week post op appointment I get there expecting physical therapy to be scheduled and I was told to grab some soup cans and basically wave them around. Didn’t tell me if I could or could not take off the cervical collar. And told me no physical therapy will be prescribed. Which is lazy at best criminal at worst. Very disappointing. No restrictions, no guidance on when to return...

Update: I’ve experienced very positive changes lately. The staff is very responsive and caring. My issue was resolved in a timely manner. Thank you OMC of West Plains for working hard on customer service and care. Hospital is extremely shorthanded. It’s absolutely impossible to get a hold of Endocrinology, for example. I’ve been calling with an urgent health need for over 2 months. It feels like banging your head against the wall trying to make an appointment or ask for prescription, it’s si...

There was lack of communication between ER and hospital nurses. I was in my room a good 45 minutes before anybody knew I was there. The charger nurse had been waiting for me and just missed the ER. Nurse bringing me up. And she was helping other patients when she walked by my room and saw my feet. So she apologized and if I had been a lot sicker. It would have been kind of bad. Other than that, the care has been awesome. Love the nurses and the hospitalist doctors..
