When someone calls you to find out if you got their paperwork because they’ve already had an intake interview and we’re doing what they were asked to do, make sure that when you finish the call the phone actually hangs up before you call a person who needs help a B1tch. Very unprofessional, I hope the doctors and nurses and staff that the patients deal with on a daily basis are better then you who just answered the phone and tried to get information that’s already in the system because I’ve been calling everyday. Also don’t tell people you’re going to call them back in an hour or two but actually take 5 days to do so. I’m not even in there yet and because of one person who just answered the phone I really don’t want to go, no wonder people don’t want to get help. Carla is awesome, I met her during my first intake visit and she helped calm me down as I was having a panic attack, so lots of props to you Carla. But the lady who answered the phone today who didn’t answer my question but expected me to answer hers, you need to go back an relearn customer service skills, kindness, and compassion. Oh, and stop calling people names who need help or at least make sure the phone hangs up first. I now know you and the 1st lady I talked to today are one in the same. Once I finally get in, if they actually let me in after this review, I may update it with a better review except for the lady I talked to this morning, that will stay the same. so far its staying at 1 star because I cant give it 0 stars. They said they called me yesterday and left a message saying they had abed for me and gave me the time they called. Funny thing is, is that my phone never rang and it shows no voice mail. So not only do they take forever to call you, now they lie about calling you.

I went to operation Par while going through College in the Tampa Bay Area. I had been on another methadone clinic in New York actually in New Rochelle next to Larchmont where I and my twin brother David grew up or sort of grew up addicted to opiates with methadone being the new medicine for treating addiction. The year was 1970 and I was in my Senior Year at Mamaroneck High School. I graduated in 1971 and came to Tampa on methadone flying back and forth monthly for my meds. My parents moved t...

My parents moved to Orlando in 1972 and told the clinic in N.Y. that we had moved. It was my mom’s idea to get me off the medication Methadone which she accompanied and I was sick for over a month of my freshman year but it got better and I was able to stay clean till January of my sophomore year when my twin introduced me to Percodan and the rat race starts again. I was given methadone at a new clinic in Tampa and spent 2 years going to college and the program in Tampa till I detoxed again and stayed clean until one day while at an A+P grocery store working and my twin showed up. He had come over from Orlando and guess what he brought me ?
Yup , Percodan and the rat race continues. I was off methadone about half of my 5 years in College. When I graduated in 1976 I began treatment at the Operation Par program located on 4th Street S.
If you would like to hear how my life and my twins life has gone or not gone just check the thumbs up and I’ll give you 35 more years being stuck in this quagmire of opioids and addiction now at 70 years old I will…. Jeff C.

So I’ve been to par for a few years, they certainly have made a difference, being in the clinic has saved my life. But I wouldn’t say it was due to helpful personnel or councilors. Over the last three years there have been more than once I’ve felt like all the staff really cares about is money. But one thing is that those nurses there are very nice and caring, I’m not sure how deep their feelings go but I’m assuming they are legit or they wouldn’t be there. I’ve been rotated around with councilors, I’ve had 6 in three years, the young councilor Antonio most recently and in a short time he became my favorite, he is smart, soft spoken, interested, and not out of date like some others. Im now leaving the area but I wanted to leave a review to show my thanks for the opportunity to better myself par gave me.

Just went through the intake process and everyone was professional, friendly, and accommodating. I was a little apprehensive going there at first but they made the process very comfortable. I will update when I have been there for a month and I expect to have more positive information then.

I have a loved one who came to this location for detox and decided to continue with their inpatient program. The staff here are incredibly professional people who truly care about their patients, especially if you show them that you are serious about your recovery. They take excellent care of you and will go above and beyond to help you stay in recovery. With any addiction, at the end of the day it's really up to the addict to choose to stay clean, but this program and these people are a trem...

With any addiction, at the end of the day it's really up to the addict to choose to stay clean, but this program and these people are a tremendous help .I truly believe that they are the reason we have gotten such great results so far in our journey to sobriety. I can't thank them enough for giving me back my Love. These people save lives!

Place was really nice. Staff was super nice, accommodating, and actually cared. Food and bedrooms were great. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is they really need to work on their organization. It was sometimes very difficult to get answers to simple questions or somethings would take too long to accomplish for such a short stay. I would highly recommend opting for the extra 2 weeks of residential out-patient since you get a lot more out of it and it gives you time to look for something mo...

It was sometimes very difficult to get answers to simple questions or somethings would take too long to accomplish for such a short stay. I would highly recommend opting for the extra 2 weeks of residential out-patient since you get a lot more out of it and it gives you time to look for something more long term(if that is your plan bring it up day 1 to get your name on waiting lists) and also get the Vivitrol shot(curbs opiate and alcohol cravings GREATLY, once a month shot, generally free if you don't have insurance, first shot always free). This place definitely helped me. Better and safer than detoxing at home because they will give you meds to help you through it.
