When I have an appointment I am always treated with care and dignity by the staff and volunteers. I do understand there are limitations due to budget and staffing, just like any other hospital facility. I believe there has been great improvement to the system but I hope it continues to get better. I appreciate all they do.

I had to do an emg test and the doctor stabbed them into me deeper than what was needed and shocked me more as well. He didn't care that it was painful and just played it off. I truly know he enjoyed this mistreatment. It took me a while to think of what I should do about this, but he was an Asian doctor. This is not how veterans should be treated.

IME, there is a good bit of variance in the level of commitment and competence of providers who you are assigned to. Some are absolutely capable, kind, thorough and resistant to burnout. Yes there are other providers and staff who are not quite to that level yet. I have found my best possible health requires seeking opportunities for gratitude; acceptance of imperfect systems; and always looking inward for what I can do better.

I received a letter from the VA/OKC just recently from the cashier's office. On a issue 02/15/24 they charged me $15.00 because the VA called me and it was not the correct number. That means *allegedly that they will be charging you (other vets/homeless vets or calling your number). That's outrageous- furthermore, I haven't been at seen for several years. Yes, I did call them to correct it. Also, I find it bit of a cheek an insult that they'll send me a bill, but I wouldn't get a reply back i...

It's ok. Somewhat clean. Odd smells in some of the hallways. I like that they have a lactation pod here. Food was ok in the cafeteria. Prices were decent for hospital food. If you need to go to labs on the fourth floor you have to use the elevator by the pharmacy. Otherwise if you use the general elevator it's a pain. We went to the fourth floor and we were told to go back down the general elevator to the ground level walk past the pharmacy and use the west wing elevators. From the west win...

If we haven't found the mind that we want to suppress Letting go of what you want to do There will be places to avoid. And avoid prohibitions that are beneficial to your family, others, and your body.

I know many people complain but My husband has always got good care here at no cost. Low cost medicines. I think they do very well for a government ran healthcare system and the number of veterans they serve all over the state. If they can't handle a particular illness, he is allowed to out source.
