It's a hospital. Everyone's opinions are probably based on outcomes. I'm not sure any hospital is any better. On this visit where I was visiting a patient, I heard about the staff not being very attentive to the patient, and the social worker was completely out to lunch. But some of the staff was helpful in other situations. My motto is... going to a hospital is a great place to get sick or die

Novant GI out patient staff at Forsyth Medical center are comforting, caring, and competent. Having a history in passenger service for years, I recognize Novant is definitely patient service oriented. Gastro Intestinal procedures are usually apprehensive processes for a patient. The staff did everything during these procedures to make my experience comfortable. The staff goes beyond what in today’s climate is extraordinary. Today I received a signed “thank you, feel better” card with persona...

Excellent doctors, and the Nurses and CNA’s are great! I felt like I knew them from way back, they treat you like family. I was treated with the best care, It felt like I was on a 5 star hotel. I went to two different hospitals and they could not find out what was wrong with me but when I got to Forsyth Medical Center, the Dr. checked me and immediately told me what was wrong. Loved everyone and thank you for everything you do for your patients.

I will say that you know when I came in everybody was really nice trying to help me out. I was in a lot of pain and a lot of things just going on. The doctor seem to talk to me very good explain things to me very very good and that’s where I give them the most most high respect for that is that they treated me as an individual and talk to me as in a way that I can understand what was going on with my body, my point of not giving a full five is unfortunately the head nurses they constantly sen...

I want to give you a ZERO for your beds. Mine was hard and lumpy. The mattress was super thin and the pillow was thinner than that, making it very hard to sleep. That’s not what I expected after major surgery. The nursing staff was very good. FIVE stars for them. Every nurse was attentive to my needs and the pain that I was having made it really hard for them. I would like to thank them all for their care. Now, I’m not sure how often rooms are thoroughly cleaned but my room could have been cl...

I appreciate the routine that this staff had in place. It made the process for surgery comforting enough to the point I was at ease. Every moment I was informed of the next steps before surgery. My only complaint was I felt rushed to be discharged while in the recovery room via discharge station.

I’m disappointed because when I went to visit my alzhiemers mom her tray of food was scattered all over the floor, the dye from the cat scan swole my moms arm up like a grapefruit, the nurse was laughing at how my mom talk, I told her she had alzhiemers she said mage know and mommy mom is funny. My mom is 75 and intelligent. I felt that was disrespectful, they hung the thing up that catch the urine to go in the tube. It was bloody and nasty to look at while visiting my mom. The doctors act li...

I can’t say anything bad about a recent stay for my family member. OK, just one. The food is not so good but the care she received was awesome! From the neurologist in the ER that made some tough decisions that my sister was unable to make, to the food service worker that came back to her room after his shift, just to talk with her. The compassion everyone showed was above and beyond. Thank you all so much for giving her a warm heart and listening ear.
