Don’t take anything with you that you want to see again! The staff that processes bags takes whatever they want. Be ready to be treated like you’re in daycare & are 5 lol. The clients & camaraderie amongst the women is great. If you’re serious about working the program, it can be done. Stay out of the drama & Live each day to the best of your ability. You’re surrounded by people that know where you’re coming from! There’s a few who work there that care but overall there is a high lack of prof...

This is the best place to restart and get better from addiction, mental health, and even self esteem issues. The counselors are awesome and really care about you. They go through extraordinary lengths to make sure you are getting the help you need. All the staff are awesome as well, you can always just about talk to anyone about what is going on and they will be there for you as much as they can. I have completed the nexus program and I can honestly say that I feel like I have been renewed fo...

I spent 3 months at nexus in the parents with children program, while I was there nexus stole $1540 in food stamps from me, ALL MY FOOD STAMPS. When I said something about it, they refunded only $200 saying that they were entitled to my food stamps because they were feeding me, however, the program that sent me to nexus in the first place was funding my stay there. So that's not true. They procured a snap benefits card w my name on it and set the pin and did not give me access to it the entir...

This 'non-profit' organization is only here to collect a paycheck. When they have a resident go out for a hospital visit, they f leave them stranded in, what is probably the WORST part of the neighborhood, and forget about them. This wasn't the first time this has happened. My daughter was stranded for 3 hours, was threatened on the street, left with a patient who had severe mental disorders (paranoid-schizophrenia), and continue to lose her records of events that take place within the comp...

A lot of the staff has firsthand experience in recovery. The staff, the institution itself, the classes, and the community are so beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there and would recommend to anybody thinking about seeking treatment.

VERY VERY RUDE, and I thought homeward bound was bad, compared to them homeward bound is caring and professional like a hospital, at nexus even the receptionist could not answer the most basic information of the company, you’re not a receptionist so you can just pretend to have a “big girl job”, LEARN ABOUT THE COMPANY YOU'RE WORKING FOR, otherwise what are you even there for, you are the FACE and first point of contact that represents the company. The fact that I had to be put on hold for 45...

I willingly admitted myself into Nexus and it’s the best decision I have ever made. The staff is personable and genuine. The food is great and the counselors, RA’s, and Medical staff are 100% dedicated to helping every single individual whom walks through their doors complete recovery, and succeed in life as a recovered addict. Doesn’t matter what your poison may be. Alcohol, narcotics, pills, downers, uppers, prescriptions, etc. Anyone who has the disease of addiction will benefit from atten...

The only decent thing about this place were the ladies I met in PPWC and *some* of the staff. The food was the closest thing I could compare to jail food which whatever I’ll eat anything. Unfortunately my 2 year old daughter would eat nothing during basically every meal. She got pretty sick our 2nd day there and just kept getting sicker. The ladies let me know this was the “nexus bug”. The room that we stayed in was disgusting especially for a child. I’m pretty positive the building is what ...
