This place is a great starting point to get your mental health in check, but if you can afford better, do so. I cannot, so I'm stuck with them. The doctors all vary in quality, from really good to feeling like you're being medically gaslit. The nurse hotline is mostly ineffective. They rarely call you back in time, so you have to just waste gas to go up there. The call center people just do what they can, probably receiving the worst attitude because of incompetent work done here. They also c...

My mother goes to this place, and not by choice but because unfortunately there isn't but a couple of places that people that are poor on Medicaid and Medicare can go. They make her do without her medication that she is physically dependent on. She has been sick for over a week now. It's really sad, I've been been calling and leaving messages for them to call me to get her some medicine and never get called back.

This place is very unprofessional, 12yrs ago when my mother was going through depression. A counselor there told my mother she thinks my mother is on street drugs. My mother kept the experience to herself and told me years later what happened, and I was disgusted. My mother is a home maker and barely goes anywhere. Making personal judgements about people is not psychology, and it is very unprofessional.

Worst place to go to for mental health. The doctor gave me medications with no guide on how to safely take them. Had 2 panic attacks that I’ve never had before from the meds and the doctor had an attitude when confronted about it. They don’t even start on low doses to test your reaction towards the medication. I refuse to go back there after that experience.

This place is supposed to help people, a month after getting a referral they still had not reached out. Even with us calling them. When they did finally reach out they said they would call that day to schedule a TB test so we could start therapy sessions... a week later and still no call. How do you expect to help people if you refuse to pick up the phone for people who are pleading for help. If there was another facility that helped with cocaine/substance abuse I guarantee this facility wou...

I cannot schedule a routine appts for my boys to meet with their doctor b/c apparently he has taken the obligation of servicing his colleague's clients. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for team work, but when YOUR established clients are unable to even obtain an appt is just ridiculous! I've been told to call back on a particular day. If it's that's serious, I guess I'll be looking for services rendered elsewhere because my kids are my priority & their needs MUST be met!

I am posting this review to warn people of this establishment ive been going years and the downfall of the place is heartbreaking to a long time patient. In 2017 the state of New Horizons is quite poor no longer can you get an appointment to actually see a doctor you have to be a "walk in" and thats if they have a provider there because honestly on some days walk ins cant get to the provider in fact the providers are barely there. As of this past Wednesday (9/13/2017) and today (9/15/2017...
