Had a wonderful experience at New Haven Spanish Fork. Worked with some amazing therapists and care takers that went above and beyond working with us. It’s always a difficult transition regardless for your child, but is worth it in the end. We met lifelong friends as well and had many bonding experiences over the time we were there. The school was fantastic and The teachers care about their students and gave them support at all times. There are animals on location and a wonderful care taker t...

I have helped to place students at New Haven and have assessed students while in placement for over 15 years. I understand that it is not an easy choice for families to make and that it requires a lot of hard work on the part of the young women who participate in the program. I have witnessed so much healing and positive outcomes from the students and families I have worked with at New Haven that I would not hesitate to recommend them!

We are forever grateful to the therapists, the residential staff, the medical team, and the teachers at New Haven. No program is perfect, but in general New Haven keeps the students safe, the team is caring, and they really focus on relational approach. Our child came out of Wilderness and went to New Haven for 11 months. Every time we saw her, it's like there was a bit more life back in her. New Haven also helps gradually re-introduce many stressors back to students' life before they trans...

I was a student at Parks House, New Haven in 2013 and I will forever be grateful for the life-changing care and therapeutic service that was provided to me and my family. New Haven fostered much needed change and healing for both me and my parents. It’s hard to put into words how impactful it was but I can say that my gratitude for having had this opportunity only increases with every passing year. The staff and therapists were some of the most sincere and empathetic people I have ever know...

I have been fortunate enough to have visited New Haven many times and have known many of their staff for over 11 years. They are a great group of people that are committed to creating a healthy and loving environment for students to heal and grow.

I was a student at New Haven in 2009-2010. Prior to NH, I had been in years of therapy and a few other short term programs with very little success. I HATED being at New Haven initially, I fought the program and begged my parents to bring me home incessantly. I wrote several angry letters home about "how horrible" it was there-I would think of anything I could say to try and get my parents attention so they would take me home. It was a long, tough journey for my parents and I, but I am so gra...

The majority of these reviews are from parents NOT THE KIDS SENT HERE. This place is in no way therapeutic and I still have conversations with people I was there will about the horror stories and wildly inappropriate things that goes on at New Haven. Sending our daughter to New Haven after Wilderness was the game changer. She needed the time away from home, the support New Haven provided, the structure, the phenomenal therapy and caring staff to help her figure out who she is, who she wants to be and taking responsibility for herself and actions. I am forever grateful to New Haven and all the amazing staff that truly cared for my daughter. She is now back home and thriving. She has self-confidence, self-worth and is excited to start livin...
