I was recently seen at Nashoba hospital for a dislocated shoulder. I must say that this one experience made an impression on me! I was so elated with how fast things went as i was in a lot of pain. The nursing staff was absolutely incredible. "Ryan Roy" was kind, professional, and provided clear expectations. This guy is great, and you can tell he loves what he does because it shows in his thoughtfulness and attention to detial. Every person i encountered that night was caring, thoughtful, ...

I have been waiting here 5 hours for my brother to be seen by a physician due to active bleeding and I and my mother was just kicked out for updating my brother on what’s going on outside in the waiting room. A baby that was like maybe 7 months was told he had to have hours wait and was forced to leave to find better care somewhere else! I suggest if you have a real emergency you seek treatment elsewhere this place is a joke! And all nurses and doctors are incompetent! I feel for any people w...

I just want to express my indignation at the terrible "service" at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, in Ayer MA. My wife arrived there with intense pain (number 10) and they left her waiting for almost three hours in the waiting room, claiming there was no bed to treat her. We decided to go home to try another appointment somewhere else tomorrow. It's simply inhumane.

I went to Nashoba hospital on Wednesday 5/8 where I was diagnosed with a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was sent home and told to control pain with Tylenol and a heat pad. 8 hours later, the pain was intensified, so I took myself to a different hospital for a second opinion. I not only did NOT have a ruptured cyst, but I had a tumor that was in complete torsion around my ovary. Avoid Nashoba at all costs. This could have been a deadly misdiagnosis if I did not listen to the signs my body was giving...

Brought my dad here, he has kidney stones. They just gave him pain meds and sent him on his way. Went to layhey in burlington a day later, they wound up having to put a stint in him surgical and said Nashoba valley should have not only given him something to help break up the stone but also told him how big it was. The stones a quarter of an inch btw. Layhey also said they have a track record of not having the best communication with Nashoba valley medical center and trying to get my dads rec...

Called 5 times, got put on hold 5 times, and got hung up on 5 times in a row within the same 30 min. Very unprofessional way to treat your patients. 5 time in a row with different call center people is definitely no accident but intentional. Extremely disappointed in the way they handled that situation.

Had an issue with the ED. Contacted the president’s office, as that was in the complaint process under patient’s rights. Got no where. They supposedly passed my information to the patient advocate, who stated she only got my second message. Was told by the patient advocate that she would be presenting my issues this coming Friday. Called her to tell her something, only to find out she is on vacation until next week. Then why was I told this Friday? Called the president’s office and was...

This review is for the ER. Lots of improvements needed. I see patients with serious urgent care waiting for a long time and not getting immediate needs. There seems to be no urgency from staff, too layback and some there need a little more compassion than others. The nurses do not seem to check in on patients and provide updates. I can see why the low rating at this ER and hospital potentially going out of business. Sad to see the patients here having to wait so long. I’m feeling first hand ...
