I went to Mt Sinai in August. I had been to several other inpatients and AMA'd from all because of administrative issues and lack of feeling heard, all leading me to lose my desire to be sober. Mt Sinai received me at my lowest, and I left at the highest point I'd ever been. I found an amazing community and inspiring group work. My only issue in my time there was an incompetent doctor, but they even allowed me to be transferred to a different case load. Cassandra was amazing and gave me the b...

The best place I've been to, hands down. Cassandra and Mr. Jemmie will always be my angels. They offer multiple programs and give you flexibility with what groups you can go to. You can also have your phone if you don't abuse the privelege. Nurses are awesome, Kim's a saint. My husband got clean here as well, and really connected to his therapist. I would send a loved one here without hesitation.

Great place, community, but clinical and medical staff is greatly lacking. Therapists and group faciltators were wonderfully beneficial. Good employees are quitting in mass since corporate buyout. Needs serious improvement in processes and communication. My main issue is a violation of patient's rights. Had unnecessary/unwanted meds pushed on me, was refused my hormone meds I've been on for 5 yrs, and stone walled by NP Maryam Zadeh for requesting simple OTC meds aka Aspirin, Excedrin, Imodi...

I reached out to Mt. Sinai with questions about their program for a loved one, and Sara answered the phone. She gave me so much information, not just about Mt. Sinai, but about the mental health services in our state and the programs and paths that might work for our context. She was empathetic, friendly, and willing to listen...which is far from the experience I have had engaging with other mental health centers as I try to navigate these uncharted waters on behalf of my family member. Suppo...

This place is no good anymore. When Dan sold it and it is now corporate, they only cere about the money. I told my intake guy Conner or Cooper ( can’t remember his exact name) that I would arrive at 4pm. My father and I arrived at 3:58pm and no one was answering the phone at the gate. When calling the guy, he answers and tells me I need to be patient and that they have had 4 intakes for that day. Finally, someone answers the gate and tells us to pull to the side. After no one came down, my da...

Three years ago Sara Sayre guided me into Mount Sinai and I am forever grateful. This amazing place had patience with me, and let me heal. The groups helped tremendously and they gave me enough time to clear my head. I recommend this place to anyone, and especially Family. This Rehab really cares about their clients and it shows through their staff. Thank you.

I highly recommend the Mount Sinai Wellness Center. I spent 30 days here, and it changed my life substantially. I have not had a single alcoholic beverage since I left, and they set me up with tremendous aftercare’s, where I am safe and also now in a great IOP program with tremendous housing. They also work fantastic with major insurance companies. Sarah is my savior and is super kind. Some of the higher level officials aren’t on the campus everyday as they are very busy consulting and work...

I want to start off by saying, the 1-star reviews I’ve read on here are absolutely absurd. I’m not going to make assumptions or discredit someone else’s experiences, but it would not surprise me if most of these 1-stars are ppl who relapsed, didn’t take it seriously or had altercations with staff. My experience was life changing. This was my 3rd rehab in my lifetime. The first was through the military which was god awful. People leaving bad reviews here talking about freedoms no nothing about...
