This facility is top of the art in providing patient care. People are dignified and welcomed by a strongly knitted team of individuals that work together effortlessly like the atoms in water. The facility is kept clean hourly. The staff is very resourceful and strategic in addressing patient needs. They have both inpatient and outpatient facilities that are willing to go above and beyond in the community for those who truly need their service. This is where you want to be treated.

After my husband spend 3 days at JPS Hospital under a peace officer Authority he was then transferred to Millwood Hospital. He has now been there for 72 hours. So that’s a total of 6 days. My husband is being held captive against his will. Dr. Day the physician, has not contacted the family with no information. A person can only be detained in the state of Texas under the 5150 rule for 72 hour. Which both hospitals has violated. My husband poses no risk are danger to no-one or himself. But be...

This place was so disorganized and there was an incredible lack of communication! Imagine being admitted and there is zero communication about treatment plans, zero communication about the medications you're given, zero communication about your rights, other than some small print paperwork you're given to sign. This place is terrible! I was in the geriatric ward and patients were screaming and fighting at all hours of the night. I asked a nurse if he could quiet them down because we have to l...

We recently had a family member admitted to Millwood, although the experience itself was scary the staff at Millwood were literally the best. The admissions department was very knowledgeable and so understanding and patient, Fatima was down to earth and made us feel very comfortable. Nurse Christie was very informative and patient despite us calling all day. Tech Silver helped us through the visitation process and was such a sweetheart, very caring and upbeat. Our loved one got the treatment...

My experience at Millwood was extremely positive, once I recognized the need for my stay. The staff was helpful and polite given the circumstances. My doctor, NP, and social worker did everything they could to make sure I felt heard considering how many patients they had on their lists. Shout out to the nurses on staff during my arrival (Scott and Paul) and all the techs who kept everything and everyone on track. Without them I don’t know how my experience would have gone! I also appreciated ...

I am a former patient of Millwood and my experience was not good at all. When I got there I specifically asked for outpatient services but was told that I would have to stay. I asked how long I would need to stay and I was told a couple of days. I ended up being there for 5 days. Quite a few of the nurses were rude and didn’t really take what I had to say as value. I only spoke to my doctor once during my entire stay and was told to go through his NP. When I asked about discharge my doctor to...

I was recently involuntarily sent to Millwood. After reading the reviews I tried to get Methodist Mansfield to send me to a different nicer facility. Unfortunately, all of the negative reviews are all factual. With the exception of Ruth, Grace, Joshua and Stephanie most of the other techs and nurses were very rude. On two occasions oneof the nurses tried to give me a wrong medication. Fortunately I was aware of the one medication and I was able to point out to the nurse the error. Had I...
