I had a horrible experience. I decided to leave early because I was tired of taking their zombifying cocktail of sedatives. I had a ride arranged, but the facility lied to my parents and said I was still there, despite the fact that I was out of the street in the rain. I couldn't contact anyone due to the "rule" that you can't have your essentials (wallet, phone, keys) back for 72 hours. The staff views the patients as less than human and take joy in putting patients out on the streets withou...

The detox facility was pretty good, but the "residential" unit after was absolutely terrible. I would look elsewhere if you are serious about your recovery. A couple of the staff members are great, but it is painfully obvious the facility is only after insurance money. Hamburger buns and peanut butter for breakfast. You can download a packet from the Hazelden center and read it yourself, rather than pay thousands to have someone read it for you. I hope the best of luck in recovery to everyone!

Do not attend this program if you have any chronic illness. There residential facility lacks the medical staff and knowledge to accommodate to your needs. The first two weeks there wasn't even a nurse on site during the times I needed to take insulin. The medical provider Jocelyn is a pompous women with no compassion for the clients. Nursing staff is rude and hate their jobs. The diet is horrendous. I was throwing up meals for a few weeks and when I asked to go to the hospital the director Ed...

It was not easy to admit I needed help. It was also not easy to commit to a 30 day program. And that's where the staff at Midwest and Ohio detox residential program where able to to put me at ease. The compassion and empathy made my stay possible and actually enjoyable. If it wasn't for the client specialist Eric trimm and the head bht Cody Paul. I would not have been able to stay. The conversations and genuine care they had with and for me helped me make the right decision and to complete th...

Please do not visit Midwest. I promise you’ll regret it. I recently had 1200$ cash stolen from me and they did absolutely NOTHING to help. No searching people that left no looking for it at all honestly. I kind of have a feeling it was a staff member who took it. Only one person knew I had money and he was staff that checked me in.

The previous reviews you see of personal items being stolen from clients is 100 percent true. They steal things and the facility dose absolutely nothing about these situations. Very sad an unfortunate because these people need help and alot of times what they bring is all they have left even if it's not these are supposed to be trusted people they say they put your things in a safe storage and they just disappear with no answers given.

I am a former client of Midwest residential. I owe my life and sobriety to the work and dedication of the staff at this facility. Two Staff members in particular showed me the love and acceptance I needed to start my new life. Eric Trimm the Operations manager and Cody The lead behavioral Tech. are without a doubt a huge part of why I am still sober today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could not have done this with out you guys. Thank you for loving me when I couldn’t love myself
