Where do I begin. This mental health facility is absolutely a disgrace. The nurses and techs treat patients terribly. I heard nurses and techs telling patients to shut the f up, laugh at them, call them crazy, get in their face, threaten to fight them, and they even discharged a patient that was not ready to leave all because they found him annoying. I overheard the tech state they put the man on the DART bus whenever he got picked up from the hospital because there was nobody to pick him up. The nurses and techs laughed and asked what would happen to him. The tech replied, "That isn't my problem." They have a schedule on the board on what activities we'll complete throughout the day and the only activities that aligned with the board was meal breaks. All patients do is watch TV all day because there is hardly anything to do to occupy their mind. I found myself often staring at the ceiling and feeling trapped in my own mind waiting for the psychiatrist to come and speak to me whenever he deemed fit. I was told I would be placed on an overnight hold and I'd see the psych in the morning. He didn't come and see me until noon after I mentioned that this place engages in egregious medical malpractice. Suddenly it went from, "We don't know where the doctor is at" to he was there within minutes of me saying that. It shows where their true priorities lie; protecting themselves from any lawsuits. The lack of care these nurses and doctors have for vulnerable populations is disturbing to say the least. Not to mention the place is filthy. There is mold in the showers, cobwebs, and there was a booger on my wall by my bed. I cannot believe what a joke this place it. I felt threatened and frightened often because there was no structure. Patients were allowed to freely roam at night. Nobody can heal in a facility like this. I genuinely feel traumatized by this experience and I was only there for a day. I hope someone sues this hospital for medical malpractice.
It's been two months since I left this hospital and I have nightmares about it. Avoid this place at all costs. It is a prison.

SOME of the staff is nice. SOME of the others treat you like criminals. I'm just going for detox and the way y'all keep us confined. How about having a special unit for those that want to detox and is not mentally insane??!!! BTW, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I've seen black mold, and hair on the floor AFTER a housekeeper goes in to clean it!! And the mattresses are so hard that my neck hurt so badly I had to see a chiropractor!! If you are just needing to detox, do not come here!!!

This facility will not help anyone in any way with how they treat the patients .
This place is traumatizing for any child by the staff who treat them with disrespect. I want to name Brittany in specific who wants kids to be afraid of her .. and the “management” do not even look at video footage of what Brittany does . This place needs all new staff.
I’m disgusted and completely angry with this place . Upset that I feel like I let my child down by taking her to this place that only traumatize...

I’m disgusted and completely angry with this place . Upset that I feel like I let my child down by taking her to this place that only traumatized her. Brittany made my daughter watch another girl get forced to get a shot of medication when the girl had said she’d take the medication in pill form . Brittany went ahead and called staff to hold her down, sending all the other kids to their room , making my daughter watch to make her feel afraid . Why make any child see that?!!
And as this is happening , she stares at my daughter while smiling .
Brittany does not belong working with adolescents. Medical city green oaks should not be anyones choice of hospital.
I went over this with management and they sent a letter saying that Brittany was “re-educated”. A little slap on the hand .
Do not let this be your choice of hospital.
They also don’t care who picks up your kid at the time of discharge. No form of identification was requested at the time of pickup. This place needs to be INVESTIGATED!

Update: they had Stephanie Haynes send me a letter stating they are investigating ( I filed a complaint against her and a lawsuit) Now they are refusing to provide the medical records that have been requested. How are you going to call CPS for medical neglect but refuse to release the medical records??!!!

This place is horrible. The people who work here lie all the time. Dr. Cassandra Boduch said she filed a court order to keep my daughter in here. Then called and said she didn't pursue the court order and discharged my daughter. The next day Dr. Cassandra Boduch called CPS for medical neglect. Come to find out Cassandra Boduch lied and did not file a court order. They are now claiming that they never said they did. I have the whole conversation recorded. I have Cassandra, Derrick the patient advocate Stephanie and the dallas police on recording. Dr. Cassandra Boduch refused to speak to me for 3 days regarding my daughter's treatment. I have recorded phone calls of me trying to get in touch with her. Pamela Vaughn, Madison, Dr. Cassandra Boduch, Derrick and Stephanie will all have complaints filed against them and any license they may hold.

Luckily, I was able to return home from the adolescent unit better than before. However, I would not at all recommend going there. The night staff is loud. Day staff outright tell you they don't care about you if you get on their nerves. I've overheard staff saying incredibly messed up stuff about mental health. When there's not enough beds, you have to sleep in a recliner in the main room. You only get to make calls twice a day while the staff can listen and only for 10 minutes. The staff pr...

When there's not enough beds, you have to sleep in a recliner in the main room. You only get to make calls twice a day while the staff can listen and only for 10 minutes. The staff pressure you when your time is coming to an end which only provokes anxiety which should not happen in a place for mental rehabilitation. I was told only one hour before my planned discharge that they were keeping me for another day, no doubt for insurance money. You have to wear scrubs your first 24 hours, and they're extremely dehumanizing. I did have some good experiences there, but only because of people I met there. It is a messed up place, and I would never go back.
I do appreciate Mr. Willy, who tried to make things more fun for us.

Got put in the detox/covid unit. I was neither detoxing or had covid. Was forced to go through AA/NA meetings. Tried to tell them i dont belong and im not an alcoholic and the nurse just says "They all say that". Food is alright not all is edible, was given oat meal and it was so solid i had it upsidedown and it stayed after being like that for 30 minutes. Rooms all smell like piss when you walk into your unit, the custodians when they mop they start with the bathrooms and wipe the piss from ...

Only reason it isn't a 1 star is because the Tecs helped out a lot more than the nurses.
