ER nurses and doctors are caring and attentive, going above and beyond in making patients comfortable.

Some staff members are appreciated and respected by patients despite the issues.

Please inform your doctor's and nurses in the ER that the way they treat their patients is literally life and death. They ask me every time I come there if I'm suicidal. I always say no, but by the time I leave that usually changes. When I can hear the doctor talking about me to other staff and I see the lies they have written in my chart....wow. I was so surprised because I'm always so respectful. I am always calm and collected. Once, when a doctor was actually doing their job correctly, I...

The nurses and doctors in the ER today were amazing. My 4yo daughter had to get stitches on her eyebrow and they were so sweet and tender with taking care of her. They went above and beyond making her feel comfortable. So thankful for this experience in a scary situation.

All they do is transfer you. I begged for an advocate to help me. I was on phone for 3 hours … transfer, transfer, transfer was all they would do, and no one helped me. I begged more for an advocate. Nope. I called the main number and asked to file a complaint. I asked G* to file my complaint and ask, “Does anyone there care? Why was I transferred for 3 hours?” Those are not rhetorical questions. I want the Board to know my questions and that I begged for help and kept being transferred. I’d ...

Recently was a patient in ER. I am a visitor to the Island for over 30 years and have never had to be experience the healthcare system. The staff in ER were awesome. Very caring and explained every part of my care. I was very pleased to see the their healthcare system hasn’t forgot the care in the word Healthcare. Even though the staff were very busy with stretchers occupy the hallways and all rooms full. Thank you for your remarkable service and care. I was an RN for 38 years. Made me pro...

My wife came in with appendicitis. Terrible ER department. Excellent nursing staff on the third floor. Dawn, Jennifer, and Kelly were outstanding. Dr. Hamzeh did a fantastic job with the surgery. She was discharged 24 hours after coming in.

Very bad hospital, they were terrible before pandemic and now they absolute horror! My child had to go to their ER bcz of course on Maui you can never get to see doctor if you In crisis. After wasting 8 hours in the lobby with homeless bums that come for their drug fix, they did exactly nothing. Nothing was done literally, she just sat in the room, then got dismissed! Now 7 years later we get 2k bill from them 😂 are you kidding me? First of all, you got paid by Kaiser insurance for doing noth...

Amazing cardiac care. My father was airlifted here from Kona with a heart attack. They saved his life. We will be forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff here. The ICU care was absolutely fantastic, and every single interaction we have had with staff is outstanding. This isn't where or how I wanted to spend Christmas, but it has been an amazing experience.

Was seen in the emergency room and felt I was in good hands from the moment I walked in the door. I was treated with dignity and compassion by kind caring staff. It was a trip I didn't want to make but I was glad I ended up there.
