Lynchburg Comprehensive is a medication-assisted treatment facility, offering access to methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and Vivitrol. These medications work to minimize any withdrawal symptoms from opioid addiction that the client suffers from, allowing them to focus on their recovery without the threat of relapse. Because each client is different and their experience with opioids is different, treatment teams through Lynchburg Comprehensive work to address their physical needs as well as the emotional, behavioral, and social areas that are in need of help. Clients will participate in group and individual therapies while also receiving these medications. Combining both increases client motivation and forces them to address their drug and alcohol addiction head-on. Clients may also be encouraged to include their loved ones in various counseling services to address addiction within the home. Detox will also need to be completed prior to using these medications, so clients may receive a referral to trusted detoxification services nearby. Lynchburg Comprehensive accepts Medicare for their services.

*updateed*we relocated back to Colorado and the standard of availabke clinics and treatment is so low its devestating. I hope anyone searching for helps reads this review and knows this treatment center is awesome. The facility may not be 5 star but you will get help and compassion and No judgement. It saddens me to see the bad reviews of this facility. My husband just started treatment there and we both were impressed. We utilized the online contact chat then were contaced by the 1800# to g...

Ghetto radio playing with beeped out cuss words at front desk, not professional at all. Is it a doctor office or a hang out? One receptionist is nice but spacey in the head shes been there long time, the new one was nice and made me feel like a normal person, billing lady is rude and pushy, nurses are awesome, counselors are nice. Nice concept for a place to help people with addiction but they need serious fix on their scheduling and organization. We also notice a lot of employees leave quick...

This place saves lives and I’m extremely thankful for that but don’t expect them to ever answer the phone. I’ve called 40+ times on multiple occasions and never got an answer. There excuse is always “someone” disconnected the phone. Idk who “someone” is but they need to be fired. If I can’t contact the clinic then my insurance won’t cover my ride so the minor inconvenience of answering the phone has caused me to have to resort to relapsing on more than 1 occasion. This isn’t a small problem ...

I had a very mixed experience there over the years. If you are going to do a buprenorphine program, I would recommend going somewhere else. Addiction Allies is great if you’re serious about recovery. Though they don’t like to go over 16 mg.

This place is a great place if you want control of your life again. However there are a couple staff members that tend to treat me like an addict. Granted, I am indeed an addict but there job is to make me feel like a normal human being. If you think the medication is all its about you are crazy. Guidance and someone to talk to throughout treatment is key to a successful recovery. I understand that they have laws to follow. But a little trust goes a long way. The only time you should not trus...

They are extremely courteous and help in every way possible when you have any issues with anything. They work well with other commitments that you might have. Jennifer the counselor is amazing. Jennifer and Tanya are strict but good to you. There's no room for bull jive at this place because mixing those drugs can kill you so they have to be in protocol. But overall they're amazingly well tolerated.

I’ve been coming since the end of August and when it comes to my treatment, I’ve been clean since starting(almost 5 months). Now what I will say is for the most part I have had a good experience here so far, but I’ve also had some really messed up things happen as well. I’ve had to fight with them to give me my meds because somebody that lives in the same building as me goes to the clinic so according to them I don’t have a stable home life. But I don’t technically live with this person diffe...

If I could rate ZERO I would. The staff treated my friend awful. The Counselor called her a liar and told her she was never going to straighten up. When my friend talked to the Clinical Director and the Nurse Supervisor they told her that if she didn't like how she was being treated that she could find some where else to go. My friend has since found some where else to go but it's awful that she has to drive to Richmond when there is a program in Lynchburg that could help her but the staff th...
