PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT COME HERE!! I’ve been in both the eating disorder unit and the adolescent unit and I will tell you about them right now. first off the adolescent unit. oh gosh, where do I start! the staff do not stop yelling at people. you can’t leave your bedroom unless it’s group time. if you want to be yelled at 25/8 for random things such as asking for help with emotions or asking to get water, then this place is for you. I started crying my first day in bed because...

I was there spring break of my freshman year and honestly the staff were really nice and friendly. I cried my first night and staff were really understanding and supportive. Also this lady that looked like Jennifer Aniston was there and just seeing her was comforting as friends is one of my favorite comfort shows. She was a little intimidating but overall really nice. Once I got used to being there I managed to enjoy my time there getting help.

This place changed my life , I came in feeling hopeless and Left with new coping skills, self confidence and reasons to keep going. I was very nervous since it was my first time. The staff were so helpful, amazing and very understanding and patient. They made sure I was comfortable and made accommodations if I wasn’t. Now I am terrible with names but I want to say the staff that worked from the 20th -26th in adult mental health inpatient should deserve some recognization and they were very f...

If I could give it a negative rating, I would. Went here to get help during a depressive episode, once they took me to the ER, I was treated with nothing but plain disrespect, the nurse at the front counter was trying to play tricks on me by whispering my name over and over, not knowing that I was only there for anxiety\depression, not paranoia, so of course I had to get police involved. When the nurse in charge finally came to “solve the issue” she put her hands on me and got physical. We so...

Linden oaks is a decent hospital. Adolescent staff are supportive. Only thing that wasn't right is that they talk about not isolating but yet you must stay in your room for an excessive amount of time between a few groups. You can't even stand in your doorway without being scolded at. Yes, i understand that its for safety but at least let us sit in either of the day-rooms. Other than that- food was great, most staff were great, beds were comfy, and there were people there that really cared ab...

Was locked in waiting room for 6 hours while waiting for a psychiatrist exam following a self harm relapse. The nurse who examined me was unkind and refused to listen to my concerns, the room I was locked in also had the same tv show playing on a loop. The fact that this is where public schools send their students during a crisis is absolutely shocking

I too wish I could give this place 0 stars. The 2 hour assessment was worthless since all they were ever going to do is recommend one of their own out patient programs. They must be much more profitable than inpatient treatment. My husband desperately needs medical supervision to detox and they just sent him on his way. Horrible, unprofessional and certainly medically incompetent. The individuals and their families who walk through their doors are vulnerable and in need of help and often ...

I was prescribed Caplyta for bipolar depression and had severe side effects which landed me in Linden oaks. They took me off of a high dose of Zoloft imminently due to studies that showed that an antidepressant could cause a manic episode. I was taken off the Caplyta and put on Depakote, olanzapine, and trazadone. I had taken trazadone before and it had a side effect of making me drowsy. However, I had not taken Depakote before or olanzapine. I was in no state to consent to any new medica...
