Ku Aloha takes a holistic approach to dual diagnosis mental illness and substance abuse treatment. Not only do they provide individual and group therapies alongside other counseling services, but one of their more unique programs is spiritual-based and called The Hui. This program connects clients to traditional healing methods, ceremonies, and other practices which address the core values that many Hawaiians live by. Clients also have access to case management, assessments, care coordination, and trauma therapy to ensure that all areas are addressed and treated. The medications used to treat opioid withdrawal include methadone and buprenorphine.
