This place is terrible...and now knowing that someone was murdered is horrible. This facility needs to be shut down and having a patient advocate...Remy is his name acts all concern about patient lives and he is not. I know a patient there was taking ppl things and cause the whole unit problems and taunting other patients, several patients made formal complaints and they brushed it under the rug. Several ppl had to defend themselves and this patient made it difficult ...

I went to this hospital in 2018 and had a very pleasant experience, with the staff and with the patients. I went back 3 weeks ago and a lot had changed it seemed. my first night there I was suffering trauma flashbacks and was shaking so bad it felt like i was seizing. after about an hour or two, I went to the nurses station and meekly said "I'm really struggling, I'm having trauma flashbacks, could i please just sit out here for a little while so I'm not alone, I promise i won't cause any pro...

This facility is TERRIBLE. There’s a hallway where the camera doesn’t work, and the minors go there to do inappropriate things. Many of the staff and nurses are rude and sometimes won’t let you make phone calls without real justification. They treat patients like criminals/delinquents instead of people who need help. They also ignore harassment between patients. The staff shouldn’t be working here if they treat it like a prison. Someone needs to check this place out. If my friends complain ab...

My gf was sent here and during our phone calls the amout of yelling, screaming, and fighting i heard over the phone were actually insane. The lack of security there really shows. There was one instance where nurses locked 2 girls that had problems with each other and instead of separateing them they locked them both in a room together so they could fight. they couldve killed each other! They encourage the fighting and allow it to happen! The nurses are insufferable and rude. this place is an ...

When my brother arrived to the facility they treated him like a person that did not matter, or give him any comfort in knowing he was okay the tech seemed annoyed for even being asked questions . My mom had to take 30-40 to go drop off things that were lost and never found and on many occasions. Very unprofessional on the facility shame on you guys . Lost his medication that he needs for his withdrawal which if you know you know how bad someone can become. That was the first night and until a...

We took my teenage daughter there in 2017 when she was having suicidal ideation and refused to take her medication. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The check in process was extremely long, however, I don’t know if that’s by design or if it was an off day. It took 8 hours to get her admitted. The facility is older and needs updating, but the staff was very helpful and compassionate. It saved her life and helped her change for the better.

If I could give this hospital a zero, I would. My 16 year old son escaped or eloped as they called it last year in September. How in the world did this happen? THEN my daughter went in March and April 1st she was attacked from behind and beaten by another patient. Their solution to the situation was putting MY daughter on the boys unit. NO!!! I took her out AMA and they called cps. I tried putting her in another facility and got paperwork stating that Sun Behavioral wouldn’t take her. CPS cam...

My partner has been there a week. She has been on the phone consistently telling us she has no intention of being clean and will get out and use. The lack of observation by the staff there is appalling. Also the nurses are horrible I’ve called multiple times to voice what I am hearing and they’re still preparing to release my partner. They also snicker behind the patients backs and have no compassion or empathy as if they’re better than the people they’re supposed to be helping.
