I have been in clinics on the east coast and I can honestly tell you that this place is a gift. In the state that I came from it was typical for the medication line to be over an hour long every day. And you could only get dosed if you attended at least one 2 hour group session a week. Groups are great for some people but if that's not you, you were screwed. And I had tried at least 4 different clinics in one city because the rules were so outrageous that everyone bounces from place to place....

This place is a godsend. They have their issues but it's a methadone clinic for @#$%'s sake. Between all the bureaucracy involved in keeping a place like that running and dealing with the batsh*t nuts clients (I'm one of them) it's really kind of amazing that they've held on for this many years. Love this place.

My first 10 years was average enough, but with the advent of a completely incompetent, power-hungry 'counselor' (heather), and a confused, anti-minority supervisor (nicole), and an Md. that marches to their tune (charly), it's a complete sham - and a money scam. They are not fair, and the patient comes dead last.

I dont think its ok that this type of treatment or company ever turn a person away. I was just told, while reaching out for help they dont take males that dont have HIV. So I need HIV to br given some help. If youve been in the situation you know its extremely hard to ask for help. But to turn away someone because they dont have a disease at 6:30am on a Monday morning and have ben waiting all weekend to get some help and was told that. I'm without words
