I went to Hazelden Plymouth in October 2014, and I can say without a doubt that I would not be here today without Hazelden. This program taught me how to live a sober, healthy life and has given me the tools to enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you, Hazelden; I owe you!!

Had a great experience. Sara was the best addiction counselor ever. David wells (psychologist) was amazing. Still using some of the things he taught us with my family (Johari Window, Yerkes Dodson bell curve) Highly recommend this place if you feel like you really need help.

I can honestly say my experience at Hazelden was a life changer. I was using fentanyl almost everyday from the time I was 15 to now 19. I’ve been sober for 6 1/2 weeks now due to the help of the rehab and i’ve never felt better. I can also say their Cor 12 program for opioid relapse prevention helped me find my triggers and everything that can lead to a relapse. If you or a loved one need help whether you’re addicted to weed, opioids, or any other drug I would highly recommend this facility. ...

I’ll first state that I have been to around 20 treatment centers(not proud of that, just the way it is) so I do have some insight on how they are supposed to run… I happened to stumble my way here a few years ago. Heard great things, read they were “leaders” in the recovery community. I spent 2 weeks here… until my insurance gave out and since I didn’t have 27k laying around, they kicked me out the front door within that very day. I was dumbfounded, I couldn’t believe it. Luckily I had a sup...

I absolutely love IOP, the experience I’ve had at hazelden has been very helpful overall but IOP is definitely the cherry on top needed for the success of sobriety especially early on. The staff really makes a difference I think, if it was anyone else this rating would probably be different. The amount of times Kadie has remembered things about me I forgot even happened, and the overall care I’ve received has been beautiful, Anne, Lora and Eric all as well have visibly amazing hearts. The bal...

i was quite literally told to kill myself by a patient/peer, (if you could even call him that) after a altercation that happened in the pioneer unit. this individual is still a client while i was asked to leave. this same peer had actually groped me which was quite traumatizing. another individual decided it was a good idea to also spit on me, all of this happening in the pioneer unit. both of these peers were not asked to leave unlike myself. i definitely wasn’t by any means a model citizen ...

This place is not good. It’s overpriced and the staff doesn’t allow it’s patients to be themselves. They also have unnecessary rules that they enforce at the expense of the patient’s happiness. The counselors here suck too cause they project what their ideas of what sobriety should be to you without considering how you truly feel. Also Adam, who is a counselor here, will invalidate your thoughts.

We were excited to send our child here thinking they were highly regarded for their care. Hazelden claims to be a dual diagnosis facility to get you in the door, but were able to offer very little therapy outside of addiction. Especially for youth, a 28-day stay in not adequate in a residential setting, as they are spending at least the first week or two detoxing. Hazelden pretty much always has beds available, despite not being adequately staffed, resulting in overcrowded pods where the ki...
