It feels like such a safe place to go to. Everyone is very professional, courteous, and listen to my needs. I always tell my doctors everything so they have all the important info needed to make the best decision for my care. They respect my contributions as I am the only person that knows how I feel. I have been very satisfied with the immediate help I get.

Hospital where they do all the medical things. Expensive place to stay, benefit is they can help keep you alive. Recommend you stay in a hotel instead if you just a place to sleep. People here are awesome, compassionate, and want to help you any way they can. Facilities are state of the art and you can expect to be well taken care of. That being said, it’s expensive like any healthcare .

Wife had surgery this morning. Check in at 530am. Surgery began at 7am. Surgery was done at 930am and was told “go home we will call you when she has a room.” Called me at 10:51am and said room is ready. Showed up with my two young children to visit her. Was told room actually wasn’t ready. It’s 1:30pm now and still no room. They sure churned the surgeries out today, but no rooms available for patients. Maybe they need to start looking into better facilities and not getting into hotel market....

I WOULD NOT USE THE GUNDERSEN HEALTH SYSTEM FOR ANYTHING! Their cardiology department is straight up garbage. 3 months to get seen?!?!? You are only a number at these facilities! Ended up in the ER because of this issue and having emergency surgery at Mayo in La Crosse this past week. I was seen same day their, surgery next day. Dr. Greenwall will take care of you as a human. Gundersen also gets tax payer dollars for new equipment. Go to the right place and good treatment of Mayo.

Had to experience this hospital auxiliary to my wife's grandmother being here and that was enough to keep me away. They told her she'd be dead in a year if she didn't get this procedure, promised virtually no risk ("we've had 100% success rate") and low and behold, she comes out paralyzed - worse than before. They also had to tell the family they were unable to rehab her, leaving them to grapple with the therapy and the living situation of someone, who before this procedure, was independent....

This hospital is a joke. I have been waiting since November 2022 for a damn annual physical. I am forced to stay with some dumb mental health therapist who asks me the same dumb question I have already answered 5 times already to the best of my ability. I am about to lose my job because I can't be seen in a timely matter for extreme exhaustion. You don't get paid for sleeping through shifts if y'all didn't know... (sarcasm)... Anyway, if you come here be prepared to be to never actually see ...

More people who have had good experiences should rate this hospital because an average rating of 3.5 doesn't seem to do this hospital justice....anyways, continuing on to my review. I visited my partner here on his stay. Gunderson Health System had efficient and friendly service by all staff assisting their assigned patients. I was amazed when they took down my mobile number as an important member to my partner to communicate where he was in the process of his surgery when it was happening. T...
