Greenwich House is an outpatient Methadone maintenance program that also offers clients various support groups, counseling services, overdose prevention programs, medical health services, psychiatric care, job training, education, and aftercare programs. This program emphasizes community programs and the inclusion of loved ones in these treatments. Clients are encouraged to include all of their family members throughout the recovery process, allowing for those services to extend into the home. Greenwich House does accept Medicaid as well as most other healthcare insurance providers, but because their programs are set up on a sliding fee scale, this facility is able to work with their clients to find a payment plan that works best for their financial situation.

I've been to several methadone clinics and Greenwich House is by far the best. Staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. If you're looking for a methadone clinic go here, dont waste your time anywhere else. I was medicated on the first day. They dont force you to go to groups. The counselors are very helpful and they have on site medical and mental health services. Update! Today, 7/17/23, was my last day at Greenwich House. A few months ago I had been on 210 mg of methadone fo...

This place absolutely saved my life. I've been going to Greenwhich House for many years and it's really a great place. I've been in a few different programs and none of them compare to this place. They have a very efficient operation and all the councilors I've had genuinely care about their clients. The nursing staff is excellent. The doctors are great. I've moved a couple times since I started treatment here and now I live over two hours away. But I still refuse to relocate because I love t...

This clinic isn't perfect by any means, but it is better than any other one I've ever been on. They give you the "cherry" syrup methadone instead of the b.s. water kind, they don't force you to do i.o.p. or groups or anything like that. And the line is usually not too bad all things considered. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants the help. Also, they offer a lot of help with other aspects of your life including employment and mental health services, as well as helping you with getting your ...

Unfortunately, I have been to numerous clinics throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan there are those that get you through all the paperwork and medicate you on the same day and there are others who take an extra day or two to complete the process. Today I came to Greenwich House, filled out the necessary paperwork, presented them with my insurance and gave a urine sample only to be told to come back on October 6, that’s 7 days away. This should have been explained before starting the intake proc...

I am a nurse and I had to stop in to pick up treatment for my patients. What I witness and how I was treated by staff was extremely poor they talk down to everyone and belittle there clients. The worse staff that was extremely nasty was a male black nurse that was on window 6 on 5/27 none of the clients report mistreatment because they are sick addict. Who ever is in charge should give there staff in-service on how to conduct themselves in a professional manner this is a business.

Greenwich house is by far the most understanding empathetic clinic I’ve been to. They are organized , efficient and overall an awesome place to be in treatment.

Not a big fan. Their new space is nice though. I hope they fired everyone except for that nice security guard, Jerry, from the old days (near Cooper Union space). The counselors were unbearably rude back then.
