As of right I'm skeptical in seeing how First Step has a contract with the worst child traffickers aka Hamilton County children services. Allowing them info on urine screens and other personal info which they use to snatch up your children especially infants. Also these hospitals are doing the same thing which is a violation of your HIPAA rights, then children services run in there, lies and tells you that your baby will be going back to first step with you, when in reality they don't call an...

I would say this place mainly focuses on the money. I was there for 33 days in which time I met with the case manager once, simply to get my food stamps in which they take a certain percentage.. so it was only for their benefit. I am not sure how legal it is due to the fact that they only allow you to eat/drink on the set times. You are only aloud a certain amount and babies only get water they never allow them to have juice or milk other than for breakfast lunch and dinner. They would rather...

When I came to First Step in August 2018 I had already been through multiple programs. I wasn't hopeful, my life was a complete mess, I wasn't even sure if I wanted to stay clean and even if I did want to I had no faith in myself that I could do it. I had been through countless detoxes, (very expensive, out of state) inpatient and outpatient programs and failed immediately as soon as I was discharged from their 30-90 day programs. First Step Home does things so different than any other place ...

New Hope fire young At-risk moms.... I say this as a neighbor of this organization. Is this program helping young women, helping families, but they're also great Neighbors in Walnut Hills, listen to suggestions, or buying properties and improving them to an amazing state of being and they're a joy to have in the neighborhood. What few problems we've had with the residents the organization was quick to address and overcome

This place has its flaws...there are counselors and staff who care more about their egos than the clients. However, the program and the staff members who genuinely care saved my life. Like most things you get out what you put in...its difficult but the program works...and you'll learn not just to be clean but how to live clean.
