The Fellowship House is a not-for-profit social services organization and addiction treatment center that provides care, treatment, and support to people who are struggling with substance abuse and mental illness. They have over a dozen locations across Miami where they provide access to different treatment services, sober living facilities, medication management, and make referrals to further treatment providers if necessary. Fellowship House is funded in large part by Miami-Dade County and the Florida Department of Children and Families in order to remain as affordable as possible to individuals without the means to pay for their services. The main component of each program is psychosocial rehabilitation, but clients also have access to crisis interventions, case management, individual counseling, group therapy, and mental health counseling. While in recovery, many clients prefer to reside in Fellowship House’s sober living facilities where they can connect with people experiencing similar situations and provide one another with support throughout this difficult process.
