I have been to three different treatment facilities over the years. I have truly benefited from the group with Adrian. I felt relaxed and safe. She pressed just enough and about the right issues. I have a positive plan and outlook for my future I.

This facility has greatly improved my mental state and my physical state. I was so depressed that I was honestly making up these situations where I would hurt myself or remove myself from the equation. The therapist really helped dig on what was causing my distress and sadness and boy did I cry. The therapist really helped dig on what was causing my distress and sadness and boy did I cry. Throughout my time being here the other patients gave me such a welcoming atmosphere and so did the staff. I really have to thank Mrs. Claritza for her point driven strength to dive right into my problems that I was hiding from. I also have to thank Mrs. Claire for checking up on me with how each went, it really helped talking to her. And finally Mrs. Brandy for the help of getting where I need to go on time.

I was so reluctant to come here, I didnt know what to expect or how I would be treated. When I arrived I was a mess, crying, anxious, depressed. I was honestly at one of the lowest points in my life. I was immediately treated with kindness and compassion. All the nurses and staff are AMAZING! I spent 6 days here and it truly helped get me back on my feet. They got me on meds, talked to me, helped me realize I wasnt alone and mental illness is so common and not something to be ashamed of. They found me a psychiatrist and therapist and had an appointment made for me before I was discharged! I absolutely recommend Dr. Bongiorno he is amazing and a person who genuinely cares for his patients. If you need help dont hesitate to go here, you wont regret it.❤

Let me start by saying, before I was admitted last Monday, I had read so many bad reviews on this place. I was honestly very skeptical and scared during the admission process. From the moment I was taken through the door, I was treated with respect. They were kind and understanding of my mental state. I was a voluntary admission, which means I came in on my own. I got taken to my unit around 12 am. The nurse that was on duty that night sat down with me, listened to me, and for the first time...

The nurse that was on duty that night sat down with me, listened to me, and for the first time in a long time, I felt relieved. She offered me a snack and drink, and showed me to my room. Made sure I was comfortable and felt safe. From that moment on every single staff member I came in contact with was compassionate and they truly cared about the patients needs. You can just feel the sincerity with all of them. In our group sessions, we weren’t met with someone who was just there for a pay check, they were real with us, they were not perfect and they shared an understanding that we all really needed.
On to the the next part. The unit I was in was kept very clean, sanitized and neat. The cafeteria was equally as clean. The food was good. They offer selections and serve 3 full meals a day. We also got snacks in between meals. There is always drinks available in the unit and they will make sure your needs are met. Everything is scheduled and structured. I was in a very bad place mentally that night and they truly helped me get back on track. I let go of everything and just took a trust fall. It’s amazing to be able to open up and be surrounded by people who care about you and completely understand what you’re going through. I can’t say enough about Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital and their program! If you have any doubts about them, I can assure you, if you let go and trust the process, it will be the best decision you will ever make in your life to be a better you!!

Military Resilience Unit.
Truly a Godsend of an opportunity.
I’ve been through 8 years of therapy and it always felt lacking. Recently, EVERYTHING in my life came crashing down at once. ECBH helped set things straight.
I won’t sugarcoat it and say it was easy, because things like this shouldn’t be. However, your life will be better because of this. The Psychiatric care and level of commitment from the staff is unmatched, and that’s all that matters. They have good snacks and coffee too ...
